Maybe it is (sort of) running out of gas. Check no blockages to fuel tank breather that causes a vacuum in the tank and holds back the fuel flow, check the fuel filter, look for kinked lines etc. Fuel can be getting through, but just enough to idle or run slowly. Put the engine under load by riding faster and consequently increase the amount of fuel needed to run the engine faster and the "fuel starvation" effect is highlighted. There are other possible causes of course, but the above checks don't cost anything.

Some how your reinterducing air into the system but not sure where.

You should get a FACTORY wiring schematic for this.

About 55 LBS front and not to exceed 65 LBS rear.

A Battery Tender will not charge a battery. They will maintain a "Charged" battery. Typically, if you put it on a low battery it will stay low of charge. Try cleaning the battery terminals and charge the battery, then turn the Battery Tender on.

Remove dipstick while bike level and read where oil is on it.

Which of the three oils??? For engine : For cold engine oil level inspection have the motorcycle leaning on its jiffy stand on level ground, pull out the dipstick which is right behind the cam cover and the oil should register between the add and full marks DO NOT add oil if it is at the halfway point from add to full marks on the dipstick. Only add oil when cold if it VERY low. THE warm the engine to operating temperature and then let it idle on the jiffy stand for two minutes on level ground and turn the engine off and check the oil. Add oil only to just below the FULL mark. DO NOT fell over the FULL mark or you may encounter all sorts of problems.

hi i had a simular problem with my 98 fxd turn out to be the vacuim opperated fuel tap i blocked off the vac pipe to the fuel tap and put a high flow tap in the tank all you gota remember is to turn fuel on and off but it sorted out the cutting out good luck

rectifier could be bad, circuit breaker could be bad, stator not plugged in, battery could be bad

Looks like a problem from alternator ,start the bike then put a multimeter leads to the + and - on the Batt ,you will see the Batt charge:12V to 14.5 V,under 12v then you have an alternator or regulator problem.

Check the rear tire for wear and pressure,also for the front tire.

Should be just 1 on the left side. There shouldn't be a caliper mount on the right hand fork slider tube.

On my bike, if it pops on deceleration, if I slightly richen up the idle mixture screw it stops it.

To arm you hold fob button on your remote until blinkers flash . After that press fob button twice and left blinker will go on disarming the system
