Bmw650 xchallenge will not start this is electric
Lots to check..
Does engine turn over?
Getting fuel to cylinder? need new gas filter?
if coil not sending spark to plug, find out why. loose connectors? Fusible link dead? bad ground? dead coil?
Timing off? set it right.
New battery does not hold charge.
It sounds to me that the electrical system has a draw on it and is draining the battery. Have an electrician do voltage draw test on your system. You could on your own pull the negative bat. wire off and just barely touch it to the terminal and if you see or hear a spark then you do have some thing drawing on the system. Something left on or something stuck on in your system.Hope I have been of some help. donnyb60
Xchallenge won't start when engine is hot.
Check tightness of bolt where (carb/FI) goes into intake, and where intake goes into engine. Check gaskets in those locations, if any. Sounds like heat is causing some material to distort, causing a vacuum leak.
Fuse for the headlights for 650 BMW 2008
On a 2008 BMW 650i, the fuse for the headlights is located in the fuse box under the hood. The specific fuse you need is Fuse #61, which is a 20-amp fuse located in the third row of fuses from the top.
To access the fuse box, open the hood and locate the black plastic cover on the right side of the engine bay. There should be a diagram on the underside of the cover showing the layout of the fuses. Once you've found the correct fuse, you can use a fuse puller or a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove it from the fuse box.
