You can bridge a connection between two of the fuses and it will work. Not ideal though Mine is currently bridged I think it's fuses 1 & 2, the 4AMPs on the left hand side This was only a workaround in order to get a Roadworthy

What is wrong with these parts? The speedo cable should be changed for a new one if broken. Is the bulb in the rear light OK? If so, is there any electricity in the socket? If not, any fuse blown? If not, you have to trace the cable to se if any connection is loose.

oh bum,,,i bet the slave cylinder is leaking fluid into the clutch inside the gear box,,,,,
pricy job that is,, and the box needs to come out to fix this as well,

I've never heard of anyone sucsesfully repairing one. So I'd have to go with no.

i think that is normal. as you say,it is a warning light. If everything is ok it should not light up. Should light if trouble is detected. Always lights up when stsarting vehicle,just like car.

Get a bleeder kit from your local autoparts store and follow the directions...pretty easy!

Your battery is most likely dead. What voltage do you get at the battery as you attempt to start the bike? If it drops to less than 10v, you need to replace the battery. If you still get 12v at the battery, do you get that at the starter as well? If not, could be a loose connection either at the battery (ground cable too) or broken wire in the harness somewhere.

most likely to be caused by your headstock bearings being slightly loose/worn . a blown fork seal wouldnt cause a knock .

Rene - the manual recommends having the break system checked immediately if the reservoir drops below MIN. It has happened to me once were the warning light was staying on and after carefully riding it down the street in my subdivision the warning light went away.

However if it does not go out after the self diagnostic - there is a possibility the ABS is not functioning and you are only left with a RESIDUAL BRAKING FUNCTION which helps slow the bike but not safe for riding. I would take it to the dealer if the warning stays on and for safety sake -- have it towed.
