Have you checked the volts on your new battery as it may not be producing 12.5 volts when you try to start load test the battery with any alt meter when you try to start the bike if not this the rely you have replaced May be faulty hope this helps

Check the starter wiring and the starter solenoid

remove old gas, use new gas. check spark plugs. make sure battery is fully charged.

Does the starter crank at all? What about in neutral? Once I have more information i will try to assist you further.

Assuming the ignition is off while you are installing the battery.
The starter relay must be stuck, or the cable is connected to the wrong side of the relay

You have either a starter relay or the solenoid is stuck. Since I don't know what make the starter is, that's about all I can tell you. Try putiing the bike in high gear and rolling it back and forth and turn the engine just a bit. Sometimes that "unsticks" a starter drive gear. Might work. Good Luck!

holy mackerel bat man, its a ****** motor cycle not a car wow that is so wrong. moved YAH" the mc and slave can seize up,. for sure using wrong fluids in the mC, or bad luck. make sure the MC and slave work perfectly first then if do the clutch main is bad. a real shop check all that out first then a new clutch pack installed or he finds springs n the cage all wrecked. what you find i can not guess, but do know how. mc this too can seize up as can any slave made car or bike or scooter

I suspect oil not draining from the rocker covers and instead draining into the cylinders. Could give it an oil change which should clear blockages.

Remove sender unit from inside the tank and clean the contacts with the eraser on the end of a pencil.

35 to 45 is normal

The neutral light switch (down at the transmission) could have gone bad.

I am not sure if this will help however the Honda GL1800 experiences a similar problem when one of the heated components you mention fails because they are all wired in series. If one grip goes bad all stop working. Check for open circuit at the individual component connectors. Good luck

Sounds like you need a new battery . It is not 12 volts . Try hooking your bike up to another 12 volt battery( you can use jumper cables) Warning: It is OK to jump a motorcycle from a car battery even if the battery is still in the car. DO NOT HAVE THE CAR RUNNING. OK TO JUMP, IF THE CAR IS TURNED OFF!!! Do not crank your bike too long , you could over heat the starter. Anyway hook up your motorcycle to a good battery and start your motorcycle to see if the battery light goes out.

I will tell you a easy way,go and get a large large vet syringe (no needle) get a small hose fill the syringe with brake fluid,open up bleeder ,remove master lead an bleed backwards it will get all your air out

Hi! Usually the the battery is under the seat so you will need to remove the seat to gain access to the battery. It could be on the left side flaring too, some flarings are snap on or could be secured by screws. You may try looking on both. Hope this helps and thank you for using fixYa!
