Sounds like you need to replace carbi gaskets if that is where it is leeking.Also cheak the tap and the hose are connected if you turn the tap from on to resv to off a few times there may be something lodged in the tap and it may come lose

Easy job. Just make sure the terminals on the new battery are the same as the old one so that it does not rub on anything. Also remove the snorkel to get to the tie down.

I have been working on bikes for years ans I honestly don't know what it is you are saying here. Please expalin in detail what the problem(s) is.

You can purchase a Haynes manual (#0249) for the airhead twins for a little less than $50. Most bookshops and motorcycle dealerships sell or can get these manuals. Check online too, maybe some used manuals out there.

Other alternative is the OEM BMW factory service manual.... it is a bit more technical and assumes that you know most of the basic BMW stuff. Order from a BMW dealer.

Have you gaped or cleaned your plugs? Change them? Check all wires? coil pack working properly? There are a ton of things it could be. sounds to me like plugs are erroded or not properly gapped

The battery hides just underneath the rear of the fuel tank. The video shows how to replace it by lifting the rear of the tank. This is the new battery specifications
