Intermitent ignition failure BMW r80
Guys ...this problem is caused by a faulty Bosch ignition coil (gray type). Replace both the Ignition control unit which is linked to this type of ignition coil (buy Transpo BM 300 - cheapest pattern type) & the ignition coil itself with a newer type 1990's model (red outlet points to spark leads.) & the problem will disappear. This is a known problem caused by hairline cracks in the gray casing. These cracks cause intermittent electrical disconnects when hot/wet - MICHAEL - DUBLIN - IRELAND

If yes, you probably hav a frozen caliper. These are re-buildable. I have had good luck by removing the piston, cleaning up the piston and the bore, and lube the piston up and re-install with no parts. But the procedure requires an experienced set of hands.

Front brakes are locked
if the pads are stuck its down to the brake cylinders that are sezed up pull out the pads and clean the brake cylinders untill you can push them in by hand, pumping the clinders out a little first will help get to the dirty parts be cearfull not to scratch the pistons when your cleaning them and use some coper grees on the back of the pads when you refit them use WD 40 on the drake cylinders to free them off after cleaning them off

I have a 1978 R80/7
it could be that you have a vacuum leak between the cylinder and the carb that is leaning out your fuel, check the connection between the the two. to confirm that there is a vacuum leak spray some brake cleaner or any flammable gas on the connection between the two and if the revs go up, you found the problem... hope that helps

I have a 78 R80/7 with Bing cv carbs. I have just
this means that while starting your bike you pull up to much accelerater try starting it with very little amount of accelerater.. there could also be the plug problem or its wire.. while another thing could be fuel filter if you have one..thank for consulting

Fuse for the headlights for 650 BMW 2008
On a 2008 BMW 650i, the fuse for the headlights is located in the fuse box under the hood. The specific fuse you need is Fuse #61, which is a 20-amp fuse located in the third row of fuses from the top.
To access the fuse box, open the hood and locate the black plastic cover on the right side of the engine bay. There should be a diagram on the underside of the cover showing the layout of the fuses. Once you've found the correct fuse, you can use a fuse puller or a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove it from the fuse box.
It's always a good idea to check the owner's manual for your specific vehicle to get the most accurate and up-to-date information on the location and function of the various fuses.
