How can I tell if my voltage regulator is working properly?
Hi Tom, the video is pretty good. but you can check another way.
Access your battery and start the engine, set your meter to DC 20 volt range if possible if not just DC volts. Connect the meter across the battery terminals if your reg/rectifier is working OK you should get about 13.5 volts at idle this should increase to about 14.5 volts at 4 to 5,000 rpm. In other words as you increase the revs from idle the voltage across the battery should increase until the regulator cuts in at which point the volts should remain fairly stable. Hope this helps and good luck..
Why won't it start?
I'd look for a major fuse, switch, Relay Melted wires or insulation. So the battery drained overnight? Which indicates a bad short somewhere. I like to use the new led bright flashlight to do a through inspection of the wiring system in the dark.
Why 1992harley pumps oil when cranking over to star
Check your oil tank level. If it is empty or very low, the oil has seeped by the oil pump check valve and has filled the engine cases with oil. I assume the oil is coming out the air cleaner breather tube? If so, add a quart or so to the oil tank, run the breather hose into a can or bottle, and start it up. Oil will flow out the breather until the cases have been purged. When it stops pumping out refill the oil tank to the proper level. This can happen when the bike has been sitting for a few months or more.

Why wont my brake lights not work
Check the wiring underneath the rear fender for damage especially if you are running a wider than stock rear tyre. The rear tyre comes in contact with the loom and wears through it. Also check for 12 volts at the rear brake light switch. I will assume that you have checked the bulb by replacement and also checked all fuses.
Why Is My Harley Davidson EVO Backfiring on the Rear Cylinder?
Harley-Davidson EVO may be backfiring on the rear cylinder because it has a wasted spark system. If fuel and electrical is all good/correct it is often the case in these symptoms that motor cycle spark plugs that although looking good and firing outside of the engine are breaking down and will not fire under compression pressures on a power stroke but will fire unburned fuel on the unpressurized exhaust stroke when the plug again fires in a wasted spark ignition system and when so firing the result is a backfire, usually quite loud.
How to replace fork seals 2007 fatboy
To replace the front fork oil first support the motorcycle so the front end is off the floor and the forks are fully extended. Remember that the FLSTC and FLSTF models have a preloaded fork spring and that the fork tube plug is under spring pressure. Then you remove the fork tube caps. And then you drain the fork oil. ON FXSTD models, your remove the drain screws and washers from each fork and drain the fork oil this way. ON ALL MODELS EXCEPT the FXSTD, remove and discard the drain screws and washers from each fork and drain the fork oil and then you install new drain screws and washers. ON FXSTD models, apply LOCTITE THREADLOCKER 243 (blue) to the drain screws and tighten them to 12-18 inlbs (1.4-2.0 Nm). ON ALL MODELS EXCEPT FXSTD, tighten the drain screws to 52-78 in-lbs (5.9-8.9 Nm).THEN fill the fork with Harley-Davidson TYPE E FORK OIL (Part No. HD-99884-80).Either by installing oz or cc's of fluid if the forks were left in the frame or by measuring the amount of oil in the tubes in inches or mm if the forks were removed from the frame and disassembled. In the latter case the oil level is measured from the top of the fork tube with the spring removed and the fork fully compressed.
MODELs FLSTC, FLSTN use 13.4 OZ 395 cc4.41 inches 112.0 mm
MODEL FLSTF uses 13.4 OZ 397 cc5.04 inches128.0 mm
MODELs FXST, FXSTB, FXSTC use 12.5 OZ370 cc 6.69 inches170.0 mm
MODEL FXSTD uses 11.6 OZ343 cc 7.48 inches190.0 mm
FINALLY tighten the fork tube caps to 40-60 ft-lbs (54.2-81.3 Nm).
Harley davidson kickstand diagram
No diagram but could get one from Harley parts department or maybe this will help:
For removal block the motorcycle underneath the frame so both wheels are raised off the ground and then remove the cotter pin and washer from the pin and unhook the spring from the jiffy stand and anchor plate and pull the pin from between the frame tubes and then the jiffy stand and the pivot block will drop out together as one piece.
To reinstall the jiffy stand put the pivot block and jiffy the stand assembly between the frame tubes, install the pin through frame tubes and pivot block from the back towards the front and secure it with a new washer and cotter pin and then attach the spring to the anchor plate (the hook on spring will face up) and the jiffy stand. Ensure that the jiffy stand works properly before using it or relying on it to hold up the bike.

Doesn't the Fatboy from wheel have only ONE disc?
So once you bolt the rear disc on, where are you going to bolt the belt drive pulley on the other side?
