Cleaning
A bucket for soapy water
Soap or liquid detergent; automotive cleaners will work
Gloves (to keep your hands clean)
Bug and tar remover
Degreaser and/or engine cleaner
A toothbrush
WD40
A brush for wheel cleaning
Wheel cleaner
At least two microfiber or 100% cotton sponges
A variety of soft cotton towels and more abrasive rags
A chamois cloth for drying
Tires
Under well-lit conditions look for any signs of punctures (such as nails or shards of glass) which might potentially lead to a loss of pressure or a blowout. Bulging or cracking might also occur on old tires; make sure you roll your bike forward in order to see all surface areas that come in contact with the road.,
Bad Battery
it only takes about an hour to say it's fully charged. What gives? I tried leaving it connected to the charger longer but it didn't help. Somebody told me carbon buildup in the engine from driving with too much choke can do this but the buzzing makes me think it's something electrical. The connections are clean and secure. I read a little about it. What is a solenoid and is it hard to replace? I'm game to work on this. Little bit ashamed I didn't take care of the bike properly -seems like poor maintenance. Any advice?,Sounds like the battery to me. If you have a voltmeter you can place the leads across the battery terminals (red lead to positive post, black lead to the negative terminal) The meter should read a little over 12 volts. Now turn the ignition on (meter reading may drop a little) and hit the starter. If the voltage drops below say 9 volts your battery is bad.,,,
Fuel leaking from air filter
The float in the carb may be broken or the fuel metering needle may by stuck open. Either will cause the bike to flood. Remove the carburetor bowl & check them both. 1 or both will fix the problem.

Motor running fast
You may just need to locate the idle adjustment and turn it down a bit.
