brake fluid does not jell! Someone put in the wrong stuff. Maybe mineral oil because KTM clutch systems call for that instead. Maybe somebody added that to the brake fluid and the mix of chemicals resulted in what you have.

Hi, What Fuel/oil ratio are using?

I'd strongly suggest 40:1 with fully synthetic 2T oil and premium fuel.

How is the bike's compression? It should be165-215PSI. If it is less than this install new correct size piston and rings and use new gaskets.

If the bike is still splutter and blowing lots of smoke then raise the main jet needle by one notch.

50:1,I use klotz two stroke oil.

if it does not idle it could be a few things and if it only runs good wide open.. what it probally is, is a clogged jet in the carb.. the pilot jet is clogged because that is slow speed and idel and the main is hihg speed.. so first thing you want to do is take the carb off and check all the jets and clean them.. dont stick anything in them just use spray.. get back to me and let me know how you make out and if thats not it I will send you in another direction

Hi, you should be able to transplant any similar coil, as long as it's the same voltage, and same amount of wires, your local motorcycle wreckers should be able to match one up for you if you take yours as a sample, hope this helps

There is a gear mecanism that operates the kick starter.
Atteached to this is a stop lock. This is most likely your nemisis. Chances that the gear has brocken are slim.

which one would be the best?First of all there is no sxc it's sx exc mxc. The difference in the sx and exc is the sx is strickly a mottocross bike. It is not geared or setup suspension wise to ride in the woods. It is much more radical than an exc which is designed specifically for woods riding.,,,

this is due to the mechanism inside the gearbox, try draining the gearbox oil and takeing the side case off and putting the mechanism back in the correct place but be very careful of the kick start spring that it doesnt hit you wen it comes off, the spring will need to be twisted round twice then hooked back on the locator when putting back together

That would be like riding a fixed wheel bike.Think about how you will stop and start. Only hydraulic fluid will leak. Bad idea!

Question edited for clarity. That sounds like it is just a bad connection somewhere or possibly a bad switch. Remove the battery leads and clean the lead contacts and battery posts with a wire brush. Smear with Vaseline and reconnect. Remove the starter leads and do the same. personnaly I would replace cylinder with new OEM

Have you checked battery connections. Run switch in the correct position? Checked spark plug for debris? Just thinking out loud..

Drain oil. Use degreaser to clean area. Use JB Weld & allow to set up properly before adding oil.
