Just about anything is possible but this would be difficult. I think the body/chassis is different. You also have a different transmission between the two bikes; 6 speed on the 650R and 5 speed on the 250R. The 650R is a liquid cooled engine while the 250R is air/oil cooled. They both use different carbs.,

THe clicking is your starter solenoid. It clicks repeatedly if there isn't enough power to make the starter work.

There should be on top of either the left or the right side case an oil screw. It either has a slot in it or a finger grip on it. If your just topping it up and it has a sight window usually on the right side case down the bottom or sometimes on the left, it sits between the 2 marks and upper and lower mark.
If your filling it from empty it should be written on the filler how much oil it takes or will have two sets of numbers the higher is when you are replacing the oil filter and the second lower is when your just replacing the oil only.
Best to have a measuring device, most oil bottles do. Only fill it with the correct grade oil and with the correct amount. You should have a hand book it will tell you in there how to do it.

It sounds more like a carb problem than a spark plug issue, spark plug is easy enough to check pull it out and see how dirty it is. If you ran out of gas then you will have dragged **** through the carbs. Go to a bike shop and buy a spray bottle of carb cleaner. Spray this in the air filter and if necessary straight into the carbs themselves. If it sounds like it's going to start but never does then compressions probably good, this leaves spark, fuel and air. To check the spark take out the spark plug but leave it connected to the lead, then turn the bike over with the spark plug earthed against the engine of the bike. If you see a spark then all is well, if not check wiring, replaces plugs and potentially coils. Clean your carbs in the way described and check all the fuel lines and fuel filters. This includes the one in your tank and any inline ones.Air is simple really just check the air filter and any pipes into it or out of it are not blocked. It is worth cleaning the air filter with warm water and if it's really bad washing up liquid.

Hi Kristian, Seems like the needle could be stuck inside the seat.... You need to pull your carby off and unscrew the bottom half from the top, 1st sign of a needle stuck inside the seat is a dry carby There you'll find the float, push the float up and down and see if the needle above the float slides up and down from the seat, If the needle stays up then it's stuck and NOT letting the fuel into the carby, Just pull it down with your fingers to loosen it up. Don't know about your particular model, but some bikes do have the lights wired through the ignition so they are on permanently once the ignition turned on and this would leave the usual right hand switch as a spare. Would make sense to utilise it for the hazards.

Hi Brent look for a plastic or metal knob near the main throttle shaft.

BAD WIRE/SOLENOID. Check your wires for continuity.(spark plug wire). Sometimes they burn off inside the socket

Which gas line is it? there is one that is a vent and just dangles down and under the bike.

The hoses are all different diameters and only fit on the nipples that are the same size. Don't need a diagram for them. they only fit one way.

There is a loose connection in the wire harness, it could be costly to repair. If it isn't driving you nuts you might just want to live with it. I have seen those types of repairs go upward of $500-$600

Change your speed sensor. they go bad a lot.
