1974 Honda CB 350 F1 Questions & Answers
1974 honda scrambler wont kick start their is
You have probably sheered off the teeth that engage the kick start with the gearbox, else ( more commonly ) the spline in the kickstart lever has worn out and is slipping on the input shaft.
You should still be able to bump start your bike ( in second) .
All the relevant broken bits are on the right side of the engine, I would remove the kick start lever and remove the right crankcase cover for a look.
You should still be able to get bits for your bike, they are getting collectable and some parts interchange across models.
Need to know what year my cb450 honda is?Frame
Theoretically it should be on your registration. But with the Vin Number (off the frame), take it to a Honda place and they should be able to give you the information you require WITH ACCURACY.
How to remove seat and gas tank
The seat will have one bolt on each side just to the rear of the side covers. Remove them then lift the rear of the seat up and pull it to the rear of the motorcycle. The fuel tank will have a bolt on the rear of the tank Remove this bolt then lifting the tank slightly, remove the fuel lines from the fuel valve. Then pull the tank to the rear and lift it off.
Need to know the flote height for a 1968 honda motorcycle 350
Hi! I presume you have a Kei Shein carburettor set up? if so there really isnt a float height as such, if you are experiencing flooding or fuel spewing out of the rear aperture it is more likely the float needle/valve is either worn or has foreign matter stopping it from shutting out the fuel supply.
When you take the float bowl off and look at the float you'll see at the end under a tang a tiny spring around the tang which is attached to the float needle careful removal will reveal all for servicing.
O.K. penny dropped? do you mean Needle Jet? if so try middle to start and check plug colour after good run, remember raising richens the mixture lowering weakens. Trial & error I'm afraid as mileage, wear and fuel quality all determine final result?
Good luck!

I have aligned the chain
Raise the rear wheel off of the ground. Spin the rear wheel by hand while running the chain over your hand (wear a surgical glove or use a rag). If the chain gets tight and then loose it has stretched and needs to be replaced. If it is an older Honda (70's), unbolt the rear shocks and see if the swing arm moves from side to side. If this is the case you also need new swing arm bushings. Another sign that the swing arm bushings are bad is if the chain is banging against the swing arm while you are driving down the road.
Recently purchased a 75' CB360T.

I have a problem with
I am a bit uncertain what you are saying. You didn't really say what the problem is. I think you are saying that you put on a new clutch cable and new clutch springs and new clutch plates and you are still having trouble shifting the gears. If the problem is that the shift pedal is hard when you push down and / or when you lift upward, The problem is a bent shift fork in the transmission. Doing the clutch is not going to help. To fix a bent shift fork, the engine comes out of the frame, gets flipped upside down, the shift shaft and some other assemblies will need to be removed then the bottom half of the crankcase is removed. This will allow access to the shift drum and shift forks. Getting parts may be a problem. What year is the bike? Do not re-post your problem. Just do a reply. I will see if I can help you. Below is a generic diagram I made to show how the shift forks move the slider gears left and right to change gears. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Most motor cycle parts can only be obtained from motor cycle outlets, more specifically the agents. If there isn't one near you, try shopping on line.
I was wondering if you
Put the cover back in place, replace the lost oil, go ride. The stator and rotor are supposed to be in oil.
Honda PC50 moped VIN decoder
To read the serial number on a Honda PC50 moped, follow these steps:
Locate the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): The VIN is a unique code that provides information about your moped. On a Honda PC50, you can find the VIN in the following places:
Under the Air Filter Cover: Look on the left-hand side, just above the engine. The VIN should be stamped there. It typically looks like this: PC50 - 1234567.
Frame Number: The frame number is another term for the VIN. It's usually located near the air filter body.
Decode the VIN: The VIN contains important details about your moped, including the year of manufacture. Here's how to interpret it:
The 9th digit of the VIN is a check digit.
The 10th digit represents the year code. For example:
A = 1980
B = 1981
C = 1982
D = 1983
E = 1984
F = 1985
G = 1986
H = 1987
J = 1988
K = 1989
L = 1990
M = 1991
N = 1992
P = 1993
R = 1994
S = 1995
T = 1996
V = 1997
W = 1998
X = 1999
1 = 2000
2 = 2001
3 = 2002
Note that if your scooter was manufactured between February 1986 and February 1987, it's likely to be a '87 model;
Additional Resources:
If you have the full VIN, you can use the NHTSA VIN decoder to get detailed information about your moped.
Alternatively, you can call Honda with your VIN, and they will provide you with the necessary information.

Honda 500 TRX fa6 has PS on the dash….what does it mean ?
The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Error codes or messages usually have to be erased by a simple reset procedure or disconnecting a plug, after repairs are done.
