I have a splendor plus bike (2006). Some times not horn is not working. I was replaced from original horn to Roots horn. Battery, coil and plug also changed. but still some times horn not working.

On a wholly battery fed system the horn is generally more efficient and suffers fewer problems. Lots of older lightweight motorcycles and scooters and probably some of the more modern types either do not have a battery or do not have an effective charging system for the typically small battery with sufficient surplus capacity to provide current for accessories should the battery become discharged. It is not unusual as these sort of bikes pass the first flush of youth to find the horn does not work very well particularly when the lights are switched on. If there is a battery it should be fully charged and tested. The wiring connections from the generator, the connections to the battery, to the horn, to the horn push and the horn push contacts should all be thoroughly cleaned and in particular all the ground connections. If the horn is in good condition and the generator is working efficiently the above maintenance should put things right. Many horns are adjustable and minor adjustments are likely to be needed throughout it's service life.

Oil in the sump of Motor cycle became dry. forgotten to fill. now filled full but has black smoke coming out of exhaust pipe sometimes alongwith fire (as if some friction happens inside). Please advic

The shop mechanic is probably correct. Any time you run an engine dry of oil it will indeed overheat and most probably cause so much friction that your engine will have severe problems usually the cylinders or heads becoming warped or even cracked. To be honest with you I think that you may be looking at buying a new engine, I am sorry to say. Personally I would not try to have anyone repair your engine because you will probably still have problems in the future.

Herohonda bike starting problem

Your bike has a carbration problem in that it has debris in the carb. What you must do to correct this is completely remove the carb, then take off the float bowl. it is on the bottom of the carb and is rectangular with 4 phillips head screws. once the screws are out, lightly tap the bowl with the handle of your screwdriver to get it loose. Empty this bowl (it will be full of gas/water/junk) and wash it out with new clean gasoline or a spray carb cleaner form the auto parts store. There will also be two jets in the center of the carb, they are gold in color. spray these out with the cleaner or compressed air. The holes in them are very tiny and must be cleared out. Once you have this clean, reassemble and the bike should run like new. If the gas tank has any debris in it, this problem will come back unless you install a filter. best wishes!

White and dense smoke from my engine

White smoke in the exhaust is water being burned in the engine with the gas. It means you have a broken head gasket typically or a broken or warped head. Can happen, typically if the engine overheats badly. Remove the head and inspect the gasket for any breaks. If you dont see any problems with the gasket then you need to get the head inspected at a shop. Often it is best to have the head serviced anyway while it is off.

The battery is not charging in riding time.

Check the charging voltage at the battery with the engine running, it should be about 14 volts if you have a 12 volt system or 7 if you have a 6 volt system. The voltage should be about 20% above the normal battery voltage with the engine running at about twice the idle speed, to charge it.
