Carb tune up gilera runner 50
on the carb you will find 2 screw one will be quite far in than the over thats the one you adjust this is the mixture screw which controlles the air and petrol together unscrew it say 1/4 a turns at a time and see if it improves if it gets worse screw it the oposite way and see if that improves good luck buddy
What gap on the plug?
As a rule, use a blade and allow it to be free between the gap.You will also notice perfomance increase if you increase it very slightly more than normal,like 1mm more.
Gilera noly starts when revved
hi mate on the carb there will be a screw get a cross head screw driver and turn this screw in a 1/4 of turns this is the idle screw which should bring the revs up a tad remember its the screw that is sticking out good luck
My speedo an my millage stopped working on my
Unfortunately, unless you're a wizzard you'll need to get you're mechanic to change the speedo drive, the lead you see coming out of your front wheel area. Don't know how much it cost's as my mechanic did the damage in the first place!
Gilera sp50 cuts out at speed, or while eccelerating
hi the bike has a vac fuel valve on the bottom of the tank or along the fuel line ther is two pipes one is vac one is fuel u need to draw a vac and see if fuel coms from the valve if this ok you need to clean the carb out make sure thers no dirt or water in the bottom of the carb
No spark or power from hd lead
i had the same problem with my wildfire no spark just happened to hit the right wire on the cdi unit it was loose and not a good conection. now it starts every time.
Battery not charging

Based on your description, possibilities are:
- loose, dirty, corroded terminals, pins and/or connectors;
- faulty rectifier / regulator;
- open stator (charging) coil;
- battery will no longer accept charge.

Gear box oil my bike cuts out at top speeds
the gear box oil does not go anywhere.it helps to lubricate the gear surface.its located at the rear .pls check your carb and spark plug.if two item is o.k check your engine block is there any crack at your engine
Power problem
there is no neutral on a CVT system but if it's not going thriugh it's auto transmissiom properly or smoothly it will be the six little roller weight worn and having flats on them, change them, it's cheap as chips. variator thay they sit in could be worn but most likely just the rollers, as the engine speed changes they move to change the gearing but if not round anymore they can't roll. metal cylinders with a plastic cover
I need to take handlbars off my gilera stalker to
Stalker was also known as the SKP, made by Piaggio and basically the same as their other models, NRG, Typhoon etc. think those bars just held to fork stem by a single clamp. simple enough to remove upper and lower handlebar covers but you might find it a bit fiddy taking of the throttle grip as cable will still be attached, and left grip will be glued or pushed on tight, sometimes have to cut them off and fit a new one, stick it warm water to re fit, bit of soap maye, don't grease it up or it'll spin round forever. try a dutch website call easyparts nl or do google seach fot that, they have parts lists with pictures for most scooters and all the Piaggios, at least you can see what goes where.
