hi , your batterie is not charging, there are two possible causes:
1- batterie does not accept charge
2 - your charging sistem is not working properly
check if wille acelerating the lights seem to increase it's power, if so that means your generator is ok, so the problem will be the batterie

You need 3 things for it to start: Compression, fuel and spark.

1. First and easiest thing to check for is spark. Pull one plug and connect the lead to the top. Rest the plug against the head to ground it. In your garage (or somewhere where it is somewhat dark) turn on the ignition and crank it for a few seconds while looking at the plug. You should see a bright blue spark.

2. If that checks out, and you can get a hold of a compression tester check that. We can probably assume you have sufficient compression in at least a couple of cylinders.

3. Next is gas. If it has been sitting for some time, (A) the carb passages could be gummed up. Or (B) the petcock screen could be plugged, not allowing fuel to reach the carbs. This happens to my bike about once a year. Or the floats could be out of adjustment, unlikely. With the petcock in the on position, open one of the drain screws on one of the carbs to be sure fuel is reaching them.

One last possibility is that your rectifier has gone bad. when was the last time you rode the bike?

most restrictions are in the exhaust, but some have them in the carb, tacke your carb off and see if there is a small ring in there, also if its power banded turn it up

The amount of oil added is a measured amount, did you replace with the correct oil and quantity? Sounds like short on oil quantity, to me.

Maybe a kink in the fuel line causing fuel starvation?

If it comes on when you first turn the key on as if to start the system is only doing a self check making sure the indicator lights are working. It's also for the operator to see that all lights are on for the brief moment, if not then there is a light or a sensor not working and needs repair.

If a red indicator light comes on while the motorcycle engine is running then you have a problem.

You didn't say what motorcycle it was make or model, so it could be low oil pressure meaning no oil in the engine, engine overheating or the charging system is or has failed. Those are only the basic warning light indicators. Some motorcycles have a completely computer controlled dash including tachometer, speedometer, theft system, fuel pressure, oil pressure, engine heat, charging system, braking system and a few others so I've only given you a few that it could be. Your owners manual should point out which light is for what system.

You have to follow few steps:
Lift the fuel tank.

Disconnect first the negative (-) and positive (+).
Remove the breather pipe (1).
Unscrew and remove the screw (2).
Move the coolant expansion tank (3).
Remove the battery from the bay and place it on a flat surface in a cool, dry place.

If necessary, remove the box holder, unscrew and remove the screw (4).
WARNING!!! - reassembly, pay attention to the first vent pipe and connect the cable to the positive terminal (+) and then one on the negative (-).
IMPORTANT Removing the battery you have to reset the digital clock.

Try a new spark plug, check the external isolation of the spark plug wire and ignition coil, and chek the batery voltage...if the problem is not there, then it depends on the model of aprillia you have

Your starter solenoid is bad. Follow the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid. The contact bar inside the solenoid is corroded or dirty and not allowing electricity to flow to the starter. You can verify this by jumping the two terminals on the solenoid with a piece of wire bypassing the unit.

for power u need spark gas and compression--hav u tested the batt for holding a charge-how tite are the cables make sure fuel is gitten to carbs-they may need ajust--lastly a compression test will show if u need new hardware

It's probably running out of fuel. You probably have a plugged line, filter or screen somewhere. When it sets a while the gas slowly seeps into the bowl and when you start it up after sitting it just runs till it runs out of gas RPM's slowly building as it is running out of gas

Check compression ,check carb which could need cleaning or re-adjusting, check valve or if there is any leak of air within its intake or any leak on gaskets etc...
