Yamaha, as long as you don't buy a "grey" import. There are just too many issues with the Pulsar regarding after sales support regardless of where you are situated.
A Grey import is a Yamaha bike that was not imported to your country by Yamaha itself which means that Yamaha agents will not sell you OEM spares.
As for reliability the Yamaha once again comes out on top although it is the more expensive machine.

The best choice is black. DoNOT do red. Sunlight fades the red color then you can't find a matching color. Black is best.

I speak from experience, I have a 180cc Pulsar, me and my wife both travelled on the 180cc together, we commuted approx. 100km daily and had fuel efficiency of approx 35km/l on the 180cc, I think you might still get about 30km/l on the 220cc, if it is only you travelling on the bike, the 180's top speed(with a bigger front sproket, 17 instead of 15) was about 125km/h(not pussing it in the red)

bajas are ****, get a used honda or suzuki. i promise you will have far fewer problems.

Should be the same as Honda 125 What is the valve clearance of a 125? The intake valve clearance should be 0.08mm (0.003 in) and the exhaust valve clearance should be 0.12mm (0.005 in). There should be a slight resistance as you slide the feeler gauge between the adjusting screw and the top of the valve stem. If there is no resistance the clearance is too large. are you sure that the bulb is ok as it has two filaments in it and one can blow and the other can still be fine this is very common,check the bulb before you do anything else.

since we do not see that make here i suggest a local repair shop
