Bajaj pulsar 180 dtsi backfiring while starting? why? and missing after starting.
check first if all cylinders spark plugs are firing, seem like you are missing on one cylinder. this will cause as well backfiring.
if this is not the case then:
backfiring can be caused by too rich fuel mix or by wrongly set advance. there is unburnt fuel present in exorst and this cause backfire. these two are most "popular" causes of the backfiring.

How do I fit a 90/90 r17 front tyre on Pulsar 180 UG3?
It's the right size tire for that machine. I would suggest removing the fender (4 screws or bolts, 2 each fork) and seeing if it runs OK without the fender. If so, when you tighten fender back on, look for vertical play, and pull up while tightening. Hope that helps.
Starting problem
if the bike is not turning over check battery and starter if bike is turning over check compression make sure its getting spark and make sure its getting gas somettimes to the key switch will go bad or ur kill switch is turned of or not working
Batteries not charging
check the voltage while engine is started and rev it up to 3000 rpm and see if the voltage remains between 12 and 14 volts. if it doesn't the most likely probability is that the regulator/rectifier needs replacing.
Help please, my Bajaj pulsar 180dtsi wont start I
Buddy.. read your bike manual carefully.. it clearly mentions that you must not leave your bike unused for long periods. Now if you do, then you got to get your battery charged up to full levels... and then replace the engine oil. About the bike swinging.. please approach the nearest mechanic and get all the nuts tightened.. For best results get your bike washed and serviced.Cheers! Bijoy
Chain noise
Excessive drive chain noise is caused by the following, lack of proper maintenance, keep it clean and lubed, next would be correct adjustment, most bikes about 3/4" deflection at center run of chain up and down play, next would be a worn out chain and/or drive or driven sprockets, last but not least and very noisy is the chain being stretched, if you rotate the wheel the chain gets loose then tight. Always check the sprockets for excess wear when replacing a chain, the drive sprocket on the engine is hardened steel and wears the least.
Wht is the cost of
the cost of pulsar 200 doom is approx 2300 including the reflectors and it could be easily fitted on a pulsar 150 just by welding a few points on the fuel tank or you would even go for a new 220 fuel tank for 2800. hope this helps.
I own a pulsar 220
carbs need cleaning or ajustment--get a repair manual online-such as Clymer for procedure
