Harleys are basically built to be dissasembled with basic hand tools. Try a LONG extention.

May sound like a dumb question bur are you sure you reconnected the wires correctly? If so there could be a short. If the fuses are good I would say between the fuse and the battery. I am not as familiar with the baggers but I know battery quick battery drains on any of my bikes were always a short to ground

My 2007 FLHX has had problems starting and today it died as I was going thought the gears hard, the same thing I found from the starting problem, if you push up on the what used to be called the pet cock you can here the fuel pressure release and my bike starts right up. I think I have fuel regulator problem.

i would also check at the the throttle body first that sounds like your problem. if that is not the problem it might be the fuel injectors i had almost the same issue. in 2006 and some of 2007 they claim they fixed the problem before 2007 bikes came out but thats not true. the angle that the fuel injectors sat was wrong they had to change the angle. how i fixed mine i installed screaming eagle injectors that sat at a 45 degree angle and never had a problem since. harley also had to pay for parts and labor. there is also a update or recall on 2007 harleys for a control module not sure wich one but call your dealer and ask them about it i know the module had something to do with the fuel or air i think.

Which end of the fuel line did you disconnect?I know on the 2008s, the quick disconnect at the tank has a valve (like an air hose connection) that shuts off the flow when it's disconnected.

Yes, you do need to take it to dealership to match the fob.BUT, to get it to the dealership, you can bypass the fob IF you know the security code.DO NOT sit on seat, lift bike off kick stand, or anything else that will activate the security mode!Turn IGN to IGNITION.Quickly (within 2 seconds) hold BOTH turn signal switches until confirmation signal (KEY icon flashes at fast rate, in odometer window, a flashing "-" will be followed by 4 more dashes = "----")Enter 1st digit (a) in PIN by pressing LEFT turn signal switch (a) times (i.e., 5 times for the number 5)The 1st "-" will become the 1st digit (i.e., "5")Press RIGHT switch signal 1 TIME.The 1st digit is stored and the dash will flash.Enter 2nd digit (b), and repeat sequence until done.After the 5th digit is entered, the KEY icon stops blinking, and the system is disarmed.The system will stay off until the IGN switch is turned off.If at any time during disarming sequence an error is made, wait 2 minutes before trying again.

Does the bike run if you give it throttle past idle? The motor should accelerate and gain RPM's when doing so. If it does and gains RPM's but is sluggish in response, I would check to make sure it has good gas flow. Check flow off the petcock, if good, check gas filter on the motor side. If still not running correctly, I would check the air cleaner inside to make sure some critter didn't get in there and make a nest or something. Beyond those ideas, I would bring it to a profession shop or a friend in the know.

Sounds like a fuel blockage. Pull out the fuel filter and replace it!

First check the battery connections to make sure they are tight at both ends. Second, check the connection between the stator and voltage regulator. Because this seems to be an intermittent problem, there is a good chance one of these is the cause.

If it's the original battery, replace it, and check the charging system to make sure it's charging properly.

open all four caps from the blinkers.the rigt side is the good side.so check the colors on the right back blinker to the left back blinkerand see what is different.also make chore the negatif is good connectedon all four.also see the amps and volt off the lamps on all four is desame.
