Removing fuel supply line
You must be talking about the fuel rail to the injectors. You would release fuel pressure from the line by disconnecting the pump fuse then running the engine until it quits and then turning engine over for a few seconds and then disconnect the quick connect fitting. Then disconnect the battery negative and replace the fuel pump fuse and then Then remove the horn and access the injectors and undo the fuel rail retaining fastener and release the fuel rial from the injectors.
For a carburetted model shut off the fuel shutoff valve and then disconnect the fuel line from the shutoff valve and then disconnect it from the carburetor.
2006 ultra classic gas tank removal
Remove the seat. THEN remove the electrical caddy cover THEN purge the fuel supply line of high pressure gasoline by removing the fuel pump fuse, starting the engine and letting it run until it quits and then turning it over for another few seconds and then disconnect the fuel line from the tank. Then disconnect the negative battery cable and then reinstall the fuel pump fuse. THEN remove the instrument panel from the fuel tank and disconnect the wiring connector and the fuel gauge connector under the tank THEN remove the fuel from the fuel tank. Then cut off the fuel crossover line hose on one side of the tank and pull the 5/16 inch hose from the fuel pipe there and plug it and install a cap over the pipe. THEN disconnect the vent line from the tank. THEN remove the front mounting bolt and the rear mounting bolt and remove the tank.

Harley troubleshooting
First if the radio/stereo head (main unit) doesn't turn on (back lights illuminating, display showing, etc.) there might be a fuse in the back of the unit.
If the head works, and nothing to the speakers, a wire might be broken/disconnected.
