You will need to remove and replace it...this happens often on these bikes, the throttle gets sticky after a while too...Look closely at how they are routed, most often heat causes them to melt, stick & break...they can be insulated and rerouted to avoid this problem. It would have to be an in tank electric pump or it will burn out. Electric pumps are cooled an lubricated by the fuel passing through it. If it is a carbureted engine, you are pressurizing the carb bowl. If injected, it may already have a fuel return. Check the mechanical pump for a torn diaphragm, they are easy to change. ..
