Hi have 125 listen can't get a spark on it but no coil and a new CDR unit still not working turn it over by the button and kickin over but no spark

I am not familiar with this specific bike. Typically, there are several bolts to remove to get the seat off to get access to the battery compartment. Seats that are bolted on reduce the number of batteries that are stolen, by the way. Have you inquired at the local dealer or repair shop? You should have a tool kit under one of the side covers that has tools needed to remove the seat.

The CDI timing is locked in by the key in the flywheel (or so I just read). The valve setting is as such: how do you set timing on a lifan 200cc trail bike? the bike does not have a timing chain it have pushrod how do set the timing do any one know

Favorite Answer Set the piston at top dead center (TDC), position the cam so that both valves are closed then assemble. That engine is based on a Honda engine. The Honda has an overhead cam that is driven by a cam chain. The cam drives rocker arms that open the valves. So your statement about push rods sounds fishy.

No. However it most likely has a rev-limiter to prevent overrevving/damage.

Does it have spark?
