Engine not sparking from plug changed battery
Check the kill switches including the side stand switch, with an Ohmmeter. Check the fuses. Check the wiring harness. Are all wires clean and with a solid connection? Any abraded wires? Check the operation of the ignition switch with a volt ohmmeter. Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up?
If still no spark, get CDI system and coils checked at the dealers shop.

SPARK PLUG
Hi Dave,
I take it the Kymco 125 Stryker has the overhead cam engine either a Honda 125 or very similar?
O.k. if you look at the top of the engine just below the fuel tank you should be able to see a heavy wire going to a cap shaped a little like a Tobacco Smokers pipe it may steel shrouded or plastic? this could be obstructing the view of the Spark plug as it is in fact the plug cap that isolates the plug from water etc, if you carefully pull this upward in the direction of the fuel tank it should release showing the item you seek.
Hope this sorted it,
Paul 'W'

Key replacement
If there is a number on the lock itself, you might be able to get a key punched out.
A couple other things to do, take a 1/4 inch drill bit and drill out the lock, turn with screwdriver, should start right up, second, carefully take apart the bike, getting to the keyguard and remove the lock, then take the lock apart, get it re-keyed..

Engine
then i rode it and it bogs out now i realize that it needs to get more gas and have the exhaust opened up too do i have the right idea i need some input on what to do to fix this!,With any engine, if you give it the potential to pull more air (like you did with your airbox) and breathe better (like you did with your exhaust), you have to keep the balance of fuel by jetting. Hopefully the carburetor on that machine is adjustable. If not, but it back to stock.,,,

No lights will work on my kymco scooter everything else works
Using a volt meter, check to see if there is voltage at the wire connector at the light. If there is enough voltage, then you have a bad light or bad ground. If no power, then look at the switch or a bad wire/connection .
