I have a 1992 ford that has power to th coil but has no spark and have went to trial and erer

you have the unfortunate circumstance of having some serious electrical issues. What you are describuing sounds like several things got fried and power is going to thing that shouldn't be getting power. First thing is to go through all of your wiring under your dash and under the hood. Then check the wiring to your tranny as well. if all checks out then you need to verify power/no power to all the effected circuits and also what voltages. voltage to the coil may not neccessarily be 12 volts under all conditions. good luck.

Change the oil on a zzr 1100

Warm engine up... There are two sump bolts on these motors...one near the oil filter bolt under the engine towards the rear...the other is next to the oil cooler line fitting under the front of the motor...remove drain bolts and then remove filler cap as it speeds up draining. When drained...refit bolts and remove oil filter (round cover under rear of motor, centre bolt with same size head as sump plugs). Fit new filter and refill oil with approx. 3.5 litres...

How do I adjust the drive chain on a zzr1100.

should be marks on each side of the axle , loosen the main nut and use a spanner to adjust the amount of tension , make sure you move both adjusters the same so the marks on each side line up you need about 25mm of slack in the chain measured at the halfway point under the chainguard.

HI THERE OK, ZZR 1100D5 ALWAYS BEEN A BUGGER TO

Always very frustrating when you have an issue like this. Just to recap on my understanding what you have ruled out: - not a battery issue as you have a car battery linked up!? - not the starter motor as you have tried a second one!? - rotation is only slightly better with the plugs removed ( trust this is all four? ) My suggestions would be: 1) remove all the plugs and with the bike in neutral, remove the timing cover at the crank and turn the crank clockwise and see how much resistance you get over a few full revolutions. Everything should move nice and easy, if it does not then there is something mechanically wrong in the engine. 2) when did you last change the oil and filter? I would suggest you do this to ensure you do not have a load of sludge in there which will certainly add lots of resistance when cranking a cold motor. 3) is it possible you are experiencing clutch drag? When cranking the bike pull the clutch in to ensure the clutch is truly disengaged and not dragging. Try the above points and let me know how you get on. redzed.proboards.com

Firing order for 1100 zzr kawasaki

Hi Johan, The firing order for your engine is 1.2.4.3. If you look at the HT leads, they should be numbered so as not to get mixed up, if you have routed them incorrectly its more likely that the engine would not even fire. However knowing the time of year I have to ask, has the bike been stood up for any length of time, if so its more likely that the fuel has waxed up in the carbs ( a common problem) I always ensure I run mine at least once a month just to flush the fuel through the carbs to avoid this issue. If you know what you are doing you can remove the carb bank, strip the carbs and clean the jets, if your not sure best left to someone who does. Then of course you have got to get them balanced again afterwards. Hope this helps. Mike

Sounds like your coil unit then mate if coil is new and you put new spark plug in I'd start with that if no joy that's where it can get expensive it maybe the stator plate on the flywheel as they're magnetic and generate the vaultage that creates the spark hope it helps

I think you have to go from the left hand side, and if memory serves it will be to the right of the alternator.

I have no power charged battery was ok before now

it seems that the battery is not charged or not connected. When you open any door the light inside must turn on. When not, the battery is not charged. Charge the battery and try again. When the battery goes again out of the power, it indicate that the charging system or alternator are not working properly. Start your vehicle turn the headlamps on and check the voltage on battery. It must be higher than the voltage when engine is off.If the voltage with engine on is about 14,5 V charging and alternator are ok. Maybe the battery is dead. When the voltage with engine on is higher than with engine off but not 14,5 V, there is problem with charging system. When the volage is the same, it can be alternator or charging system.
