Gas gauge not working on 2007 kawasaki vulcan 1600 motorcycle

Forget the fuel gauge. Find out how far your bike will go on a tank of gas and reset your trip meter each time you refuel. When you have gone about 100 miles, fill up.

My key is not releasing the seat on 06 kawasaki. how can i get to battery

Push in the direction that normally releases the seat (normally down) while turning the key and it will probably unlock. Sometimes the tension from the seat pushing against the lock stops it from unlocking.

What could kill a brand new battery over night?

A short circuit, or an accessory left turned on (i.e. alarm system or heated grips). Could also be caused by a lack of electrolyte in the battery if not properly filled before use.

What could kill the battery while sitting over night

A short circuit in the electrical system, possibly due to damage to the wiring harness, sometimes caused by rodents. This could also be caused by aftermarket modifications to the electrical system. If the battery dies overnight when not connected to the bike, the battery is defective and needs to be replaced. If the battery does not maintain its voltage under load, it needs to be replaced.

Kawasaki vn1500 will not start, new battery, new starter solenoid, good fuses, just click click click not start

Check your ground connection to make sure that it is clean and tight. If the connections are good, I would suspect the starter itself.

Wont idle down

If idle speed control won't bring idle down check intake hoses for leaks. With bike running, spray WD40 onto intake surface near carb and head. If bike slows the problem is there. If smoke comes out of one exhaust, that is the intake that is leaking. re-install carb. If that dosen't resolve the issue. rebuild carb checking for tears in rubber diaphrams and gaskets.

2005 kawasaki vulcan classic 800 oil type

Owner's manual should have it, If not You can go to a retailer with a power sports lookup input make, model, size and year. And you will receive recommendations for use in your climate. Call the service department at your dealer to book an oil change and ask for an estimate, chances are they will mention the type of oil used or options available for your model. I know Amsoil products, and I know they have a power sports oil/product look up search engine, what you buy is up to you, but it will give you the type and viscosity for yours.
