Choke lever location?

If memory serves me... there is a lever on top front of the carb, push it down for start, as soon as it starts pull it up. I think it has choke stamped into it.

Having problems with my 2015 zx10r clutch the cable keeps getting tighter I've adjusted both lever And engin to the point where it won't slack anymore and still getting tighter now it's starting to slip when I give it power any help would be extremely grateful

OK.. Loosen BOTH ends... the slack at the engine should be enough where you can move the cable a little (at least 1/8") and now adjust the handle bar lever so there is at least 1/8" of slack between the lever and the holder, If the clutch still isn't working, take a little more slack out AT the engine. If this does not fix it, you probably need a NEW cable....the old one may by stretched beyond its usable length!!

Why no spark?

First - replace all spark plugs with factory recommended. Check the kill switch, If you have had the tank off... check under there for a wire/plug you knocked loose. Then take it to a professional

Looking for n new part 1982 Kawasaki GT750 Speedometer Tachometer Instrument Gauge Cluster

You can try e-bay or swap meets.( https://picclick.com/eBay-Motors/Parts-Accessories/Motorcycle-Parts/Instruments-Gauges/Instrument-Clusters/?page=16) You also might try a motorcycle salvage yard if there is one near you. Many after market clusters will work too. You might check your local sites such as craigslist or cycle trader. I have an '82 kz440 that is mostly parts culled from other bikes and switches, etc. from radio shack lol

My fr691v Kawasaki went under water , what should I do ?

Was it running when it went under? If it was may need major work if engine swallowed water while running. Was it salt water or fresh. If it was not running when it went in you can drain all fluids and flush. Carbs or throttle bodies need to be removed and cleaned spark plugs pulled and checked for water. Once all cylinders are are free of water fog them and reasemble. Add new fluids and gas and try starting. If it is still drippin g water you will need for bike to completely dry. Hair dryer on low will help dry electronic controls. Do not over heat.

Just bought a Kawasaki 07 zx6r. Bike wont start and has water in one of the cylinders. I believe it has blown head gasket but how can I tell without a shop if there is more

1. How do you know that there is water in a cylinder? 2. Check for spark. Harbor freight has a cheap spark checking tool. 3. Check for gas. Should be able to pull the fuel line off the injector pump and turn the key on. fuel should come out. caution******dont do both at the same time Most likely if it cranks (engine turns over) but doesn't start, one of the two above is not happening, although, it could also be an injector pump.

What is float height?

Float height is the level of the floats inside the bowl of the carburetor , this height regulates the level of gas in the bowl, If the level is too high, you won't have enough gas in the bowl to achieve proper jetting (you MIGHT seize the motor), if the level is too low, gas will leak out of the over flow and overall jetting will be off, (this is measuring the float level with the carbs off the bike/atv.)
