KX 125 (2003) motorcycle

its 120 mm or 4.7 inches from the top of the fork
Some measure the oil quantity and fill the fork up, some fill the fork up and measure the oil level. The most correct method is to measure the level, I guess, but many guys measure in quantity.. both ways work well.

My kx125 2002 has a funny rattle when idleing on the magneto side

Take the cover off the magneto side by undoing the 8mm bolt/screw heads around the cover. Hold the magneto firmly and try and move up and down, if you sense any movement that isn't rotary it may be your main bearing that needs replacement, this sounds like a rumble rather than a rattle when the engine's running.(does it make the same noise when you pull the clutch in?)

I have a 1987 kx 125 just put topend gasket set in

It sounds as if you have rebuilt the engine without torqueing the head bolts. Although, it could be that the cylinder base gasket has been torn during the rebuild. Try to re-tighten the head bolts to the correct settings first. Good luck.

Front suspension screws for letting out pressure snapped of inside the suspension. how do i fix it and how much will it cost?

Put your bike on a stand so there's no weight on the front wheel. Take the whole cap off the top of your fork, on the underside of the broken screw as centrally as possible centre punch a mark, then using a very small drill gently drill through, increasing the drill size gradually, the drill action and the heat generated may loosen the screw if not a bit of persuasion with an impact screwdriver set clockwise should do the job.

Hi, i was riding my kx 125 03 yesterday and the dyed on me

Hi,would start by taking the head off and have a look at the top of the piston, if it hasn't got a hole in it.. good....the bottom of your plug may have broken off, this may have damaged your rings so you'll have no compression. You'll have too strip it down further. When you're sorted check your oil/petrol mix and your air screw setting then check your plug regularly for discolouring or oiling up. Go for it, and be methodical.
