I have a 1987 kx 125 just put topend gasket set in

It sounds as if you have rebuilt the engine without torqueing the head bolts. Although, it could be that the cylinder base gasket has been torn during the rebuild. Try to re-tighten the head bolts to the correct settings first. Good luck.

Hi, i was riding my kx 125 03 yesterday and the dyed on me

Hi,would start by taking the head off and have a look at the top of the piston, if it hasn't got a hole in it.. good....the bottom of your plug may have broken off, this may have damaged your rings so you'll have no compression. You'll have too strip it down further. When you're sorted check your oil/petrol mix and your air screw setting then check your plug regularly for discolouring or oiling up. Go for it, and be methodical.

Front suspension screws for letting out pressure snapped of inside the suspension. how do i fix it and how much will it cost?

Put your bike on a stand so there's no weight on the front wheel. Take the whole cap off the top of your fork, on the underside of the broken screw as centrally as possible centre punch a mark, then using a very small drill gently drill through, increasing the drill size gradually, the drill action and the heat generated may loosen the screw if not a bit of persuasion with an impact screwdriver set clockwise should do the job.

Replacing Kawasaki kx 80 kick start return spring

Hi, easy job, if your bike is waer cooled, you dont say how old it is the old bikes were air cooled, undo all the water pipes attached to the r/h case all the water will escape, you can leave the oil inside the gearbox, if you lay the bike on its left hand side, lift the engine and block it up to make sure gear lever is not resting on the ground, as this will disengage when you remove the clutch cover on the r/hand side, undo all the fixing screws from the cover remove kickstart lever, tap the cover gently to loosen the cover and remove when loose, if the case will not come off check further for screws, sometimes hide inside water pumps etc, once you are ready to remove the cover, keep the kickstart shaft pushed inermost so that it stays located within the engine, once ready fully observe the location of spring mountins within the engine and replace the spring

Hi, My KX is starting

The caps on motorcycle plug wire that snap onto the spark plug wear out and yours may need be replaced. They just unscrew from the wire and new ones screw onto the old wire. May not hurt to see if your plug wires can be changed from the coil as well. Get some new solid core wire and the resistor caps.

I have a 2004 kawasaki kx 125 and I was not using

A couple of possibilities; install a new air filter. The old one may be partially blocked up due to not being fully dried out. Drain the carburetor float bowl. Water can collect in the bowl and cause the symptoms you describe. If you have already drained the carb, re-drain it. It may also be that the carb needs to be disassembled and cleaned. A bit of trash may be blocking a jet.

Hi, i was wanting some

Specialist job, not saying you cant do it, but it involves you removing all the old wire, measuring the length and diamiter of the wire, and replacing the same amount exactly, to obtain the correct resistance, not allowing the wire to go to earth at any point during the rewinding , you have nothing to loose just time and patiance, maypay off dividends

99 kawasaki kx 125 2-stroke wont start or stay

I would check the compression of the piston, the rings could be stuck and not have good compression. It should show 120 psi or more. Also can pull off the exhaust and look in the exhaust port to see the rings, piston, and cylinder walls. If the motor has a power valve make sure that is not gummed up or stuck. Mark C
