Gpz 1000 not cranking! what could it be?

Only a few reasons.. if engine not turning over at all its seized motor, it could be a bent valve and stopping the piston from completing its full stroke. or a piston rod. If engine turns over and not starting it could be fuel, electrical, or carbies jets, or valve timing. Hope this helps Ken

What type of cooling fluid does my bike run on?

Motor cycles use antifreeze just like cars. The problem is that if the bike has metals that are not compatible with some coolants, you get corrosion issues. They best thing to do is call the service department at a motorcycle shop and see.

How to change rear wheel bearings on gpz 900 r 1987

Take off wheel...remove cush drive on sprocket side...prise the oil seal out on the brake side and you'll see a circlip...remove this and drift bearings out. Drift new ones in with a socket or bit of tubing that is the same size as the bearing outer so as not to damage the bearings...re-fit circlip.

Tire pressure is printed on the sidewall of the tire itself.. probably 40 to 44psi or so. Should be labeled on the tire itself beside the letters (psi)

I have A 1988 Virago 1100 With Cobra Mufflers and The Carbs Are Jetted with A cobra I stage Kit And The Fuel Air Mix Screws are new It Cranks And Runs But Black Smoke Is Comming out of the Pipes Whats

Sounds like you need to take it to a shop that kinda knows what they are doing. If they have problems they can call cobra themselves. As a shop the aftermarket companies are usually pretty good about helping out since most of their product is sold or installed in aftermarket shops. With that being said. I would start by dropping the clips up one notch and see how that works. By sliding it up one notch it should run a little leaner . If it's better but doesn't cure the problem then go up one more. If it does clear up the black smoke then there you go. Generally cobra will tell you in the directions what common jets to install. They even have a section for higher elevations as well. If not in the directions they usually do on their website. Hope this helps a little. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/robert_5bac37c3cb991fdb

Kawasaki gpz 750 won't start and only makes a

hey bud, i know this might be a bit late but sounds like the starter chain tensioner has failed and the gears have vbeen stripped. dont try to start thebike. take the clutch casing off, and that chain and sprocket assembly infront of u is the offending part. google a guy called andy bennett for a manual chain tensioner. replace thes parts with zzr1100 parts as they are stronger. once youve researched and done all that. take the sump off and give it a bloody good clean. then re-assemble and away u go. u can do all this without taking the engine out the chassis. exhaust off, oil cooler off, radiator off. hope this helps. feel free to cantact me. kiltednutter (facebook)
