Do yourself a favour, purchase a workshop manual for it.

Don't waste your money on fuel additives, they will not fix your problem. You need to remove the carb, then remove the float bowl. Then remove the pilot jet and ream it with compressed air or a small piece of wire ( a bristle from a wire brush should work) Hold the jet up to the light and make sure you can see day-light through it. Do the same to the main jet. Most likely it will be the pilot jet that is clogged.

Take the bike to a professional and have the carb cleaned and set. MAKE SURE you have a good stream of fuel flowing from the gas tank to the carb. first!!

Sounds like the reserve lever on the petcock is not being used, Your petcock should have 3 positions, OFF , ON , RESERVE. Learn how to operate it!! Reserve will allow you to run a few more miles to get to a gas station!!

Do you want to bypass the switch? The switch either "makes" the circuit to indicate the stand is down - OR - the switch "breaks" the circuit to indicate the stand is down. Either way, if it has two wires, unplug them and see if it bypasses (disconnects). If it doesn't work just plug the wires into each other and that will bypass the switch.

I would guess its been sitting for a while,, anyway,, take it to a professional and have the carb cleaned and set. Maybe the entire fuel system from tank down also.

Change or clean the fuel shut off valve

Before I blame anything, I would check to see if it is getting gas, and if it is, how about spark? Then I would know which way to go, if no spark, how about the coils.? The stator is rare, they do go bad, but rare. and the cdi, Last thing I would check. Check the wires, check the fuses, check the spark, then squirt some fuel in the cylinder to see if it will fire. If you can borrow a coil, do it, just to try it. Hope this helps.

It's at the right hand side of the bike close to the sit and underneath the seat

check air filter, spark plug and fuel delivery in that order. then check for plugged exhaust, valve adjustments and then timing. in the mean time answer these questions. is the gas fresh and from a known good source ??? did you do anything to it recently ??? is the engine revving high while you are moving ???

Running low on fuel concentrates any water or sediment in the tank to the point where it just has to go down the fuel line and it clogs filters and carburettors. A tiny drop of water in a carb can play havoc... I suggest you clean the fuel system and carb thoroughly...

Petrol leaking is a known issue on older GT650 bikes. Joints are cracking on the fuel tank. Especially where the holding console connects the tank with the frame.https://www.snaptube.cam/https://www.vidmate.bid/

I have a 2014 gv650 pro that will not idle, it starts and runs with throttle but stalls as soon as revs drop. I've tried to get F1 code to come up but it doesn't just keeps flashing F1. I've replaced spark plugs and caps but F1 is on before you even start the bike and stays on

It sounds like:
1) One of the wires that takes power to the right hand turn signals is shorted to the chassis.
2) One, or both, of the right hand turn signal bulbs is burnt out.
3) The turn signal switch has failed.

Buy a shopmanual or ask a cycle salvage

check chip type fuse relays

Hi I'm having the same problem I press the start switch and I only get a noise from the starter...but when I jump start it from a car it starts perfect...but my main light and tail light don't come on help plz lol...

Hi I have a 2011 EFI Hyosung gt650. I have just removed fuel tank to replace rear shock. All parts refitted. And now I can't start bike. I have the bike turning over but no brrrrm. Have rechecked the fuel lines are fitted correctly. But still no go. Any ideas please.

Check the fuel pump.

Adjust the clutch cable on the left handlebar. It should have 2-3mm of free play before it starts pulling on the cable. If your clutch is not fully disengaging this will happen.
