It's only a toy. I wouldn't worry about it unless it runs really rough.

This is a wild guess. You need a new or rebuilt starter motor. The shaft for the starter motor gear broke and the starter gear is not turning over your engine.

The contacts inside can get worn out. and follow that wire through its various connector blocks. They can corrode. When I got bikes, I took the connectors apart and pushed Vaseline into the female side of the connector. Saves problems down the line. If that checks out, it is likely to be a faulty new solenoid. You can check it with a multimeter. It is basically an electronic switch that uses low amp power to operate and electronic solenoid to slap 2 contacts together carrying high amperage power to the starter contacts. I think it simply means it's a later, (newer), model of that generation of CB750. The bikes without the 'N' all seem to be 1970's bikes.

It starts using the momentum when the starter cut power.Put the battery on a full size battery charger overnight and try again. Take it to an Interstate Battery shop and ask them to test it. Takes 2 minutes on the bike and you get a print out..

The clutch or gears hav issue. Buy a clymer repairbook for total rebuild.

The engine only needs three things to run. Fuel A spark at the right time Compression Start with the basics. Check you have fuel flow. It is fuel injected, so check the fuel pump is working. Remove the plugs and see if they are wet and see if they spark. In the circumstances, you can probably assume it has compression, because it was running.
