Kickstand keeping bike from starting
Actually, you can bypass the switch.
The method depends on if the switch is normally open, or normally closed (electrical switch terms)
Once you find the switch, unplug the two wires from it, let them hang without contacting anything, and see if the bike starts.
If so, you can just electrical tape the ends of the two wires to insulate them, until you can get a new switch.
If not, get a paper clip, and connect both wires at each end of paper clip.
What you are doing here is using the paper clip as a jumper between the two wires.
Now see if the bike starts.
If so, you can join them (until you can get the switch replaced) with one of these:

Won't start when cold
The cold start valve could need replacing. Also when cold, condensate gets on the wiring causing it to run rough until things warm up. Try covering it up at night. Check your plugs are OK.

There is no electrical power
Remove the main fuse out for 5 minutes. Then re-install main fuse in and then check.--------
Also did you exactly checked the main fuse or any other fuse.--------- I assume you checked correct main fuse, but still reconfirm, that you checked exact fuse. For exact location of main fuse image and accessment, click the link below for confirmation :----

-------------------
But if removing and reinserting fuse is not helping to solve the problem. Then test voltage to the battery with ignition key to on position. Now test voltage to your battery. It should show voltage. If there is no voltage, then either battery is dead.Or its connections are loose or loose battery ground or the main fuse needs to be replaced.-------------
Getting this checked will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Have a Honda 2004 Silver
Well, what I can see regardless whether it is a new or old battery, when you put it on a charger that are not automatic, it would ruin your battery elements. You can take the battery to a battery shop and have them tested it. If it is still good then do you notice a clicking (cranking sound0 when you try to start the bike? If not then check your starter solenoid as it may not power enough the starter.
Cheers
