2007 Honda CBR 1000RR. I lost my key so a bought a ignition and key with complete HISS system. Everything is working perfectly except the fuel pump doesn't kick in? Please help.

I want to know what size resistor do I need use so my ignition can read my key on my 2007 Honda CBR 1000RR from my crank angle plug to my battery Thank you

This idea is generally a fairy tale. This relates to the GM Passlock System but it is the same theory. https://www.fixya.com/cars/r29887709-gm_passlock_security_system As I have said many times, you need to fix the system, not find a way around it. You are also making easy for theft. Bash a screwdriver in the ignition lock and away they go on your bike. Gone in 60 seconds. ..

2006 Honda CBR-1000. How do I set timing after timing chain broke? I've adjusted the cams twice so far.

Question edited for clarity and add maker. Question moved to model category. Do it once and do it right. It normally requires special tools that lock the cams together. Get cylinder 1 at TDC and line up the marks on the cam. Put the chain on, set the tensioner and re-check. https://www.google.com/search?q=2006+honda+cbr1000rr+camshaft+timing https://www.google.com/search?q=2006+honda+cbr1000rr+replace+timing+chain You really need a Service Manual https://www.google.com/search?q=2006+honda+cbr1000rr+service+manual ..

Hi, David for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs -fluid capacities and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can not find the best tool you ever bought for your Honda, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. I have a fireblade 1000 rr 07 and recently i changed the back tyre,i noticed a slight vibration coming through the pegs when i backed off soon afterwards which has slowly got alot worse and now does i

Hey Gary,, remove the rear wheel.. take it to a QUALIFIED tire shop and ask them to check the balance of the entire tire/wheel assembly...(you may have bad tire).........it won' be the first one I have seen................make sure you had all the spacers in the right place.. NOW.. when you reinstall the tire/wheel you MUST align the chain and sprockets -NOT by USING the little notches on the swing arm..these are often not exactly the same distances from the swingarm pivot bolt center line..(THE critical measuring point).. ..........The chain should ride in a perfectly straight line over BOTH sprockets.. you can eyeball this .. you may have to remove the chain guard to do this properly.. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE ALIGNMENT BE DONE THIS WAY!!!!!!!!... (you will be surprised at how many are WAY off).. I am a 40+ years of factory trained service tech ..yea,, I am old too..

Need to replace battery

Typically, Honda seats have a bolt at the rear and one on either side. Remove the bolts, the seat comes off easily. This process is described in your owner manual which should be in its space behind one of the side covers. In that same space, you should find a tool kit with the tools required to remove the seat. You might want to check out this site ... http://hrca.honda.com/publications/. Some Honda batteries come out the side. Some other Honda motorcycles have a seat which unlocks and opens up in a similar fashion to a glove box in a car. The battery is easily accessible in this style. I don't think yours is this style, still this is good information to have.
