Turns on but no start problem on nissan
no car told, maker, model , year and engine option
no countryl told . wow,
not told does the starter crank the engine over fast.
that is first, or it will never start or run.
cranking is first.
check all fuses.?
vast Nissan cars and trucks are sold all over earth
and are not the same.
if it does crank the crank shaft pulley fast then if gas engine
check for spark. next.
fuel tests are last.
2002 ford expedition interior lights are not on what fuse is it?
Courtesy Lamps - central junction box. fuse # F1.21 that goes to interior lamp relay in the instrument cluster and F.24 this fuse powers battery saver relay .
Interior Lighting
The interior light system consists of the following:
- front map lamp assembly
- front door courtesy lamp
- generic electronic module (GEM)
- glove box lamp assembly
- central security module
- interior lamp switch
- interior lamp relay
- illuminated vanity mirrors (Navigator only)
- reading lamp assembly
- rear courtesy lamp
- running board lamp
- underhood lamp assembly
The generic electronic module (GEM) illuminates the interior lamps when an unlock signal is received from the remote anti-theft personality central security module. The illuminated entry feature will be canceled when any of the following conditions are met:
- 25 seconds have elapsed since the illuminated entry feature was activated and the interior lamp control is not activated (door ajar or courtesy lamp switch on).
- The GEM receives a request from the central security module (remote transmitter lock button pressed) and the interior lamp control is not activated.
- The ignition is in the RUN or START position and the interior lamp control is not activated.
The GEM will illuminate the interior lamps when any door is open or ajar. The interior lamps are; the dome lamp, the rear cargo lamp, the door courtesy lamp and the side rail lamps. The courtesy lamps will shut off when the doors are closed and the illuminated entry feature is not active or when the vehicle speed is greater than 5 mph (8 km/h). The interior lamps will not be reactivated until the vehicle speed is less than 3 mph (5 km/h) and a new door open warning lamp switch is received.
The GEM controls the interior lamps illuminated entry function by activating the interior lamp relay.
You have an electronic control module and relays involved in the operation of these lights also !

1995 Honda TRX 300 No Spark while cranking starts when start button is released, also starts off the kick start
When you have a situation where a vehicle like your Honda TRX 300 starts only when you release the start button or when using the kick-start, it's often indicative of an issue with the ignition switch or wiring. Here's a step-by-step troubleshooting guide you can follow:
- Check the Ignition Switch: Sometimes, the ignition switch can malfunction, causing intermittent starting issues. Make sure it's functioning properly by checking for any loose connections or signs of damage.
- Inspect the Wiring Harness: Over time, the wiring harness can degrade, leading to electrical issues. Look for any frayed wires, loose connections, or damaged insulation. Pay close attention to the wiring around the ignition system.
- Test the Ignition Coil: The ignition coil generates the spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. Use a multimeter to test the resistance of the ignition coil. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for the specific resistance values. If the ignition coil is faulty, it may not provide a spark consistently.
- Check the Spark Plug: A faulty spark plug can also cause intermittent starting issues. Remove the spark plug and inspect it for any signs of fouling, such as carbon buildup or damage to the electrodes. Replace the spark plug if necessary.
- Inspect the Kill Switch: The kill switch is designed to shut off the engine by grounding the ignition system. If the kill switch is malfunctioning or stuck in the off position, it can prevent the engine from starting or cause intermittent starting issues.
- Test the Starter Relay: The starter relay sends power to the starter motor when you press the start button. Use a multimeter to test the continuity of the starter relay. If it's faulty, replace it with a new one.
- Check the Battery: A weak or faulty battery can cause starting issues. Test the battery voltage with a multimeter. It should read around 12 volts or higher. If the battery voltage is low, recharge or replace the battery.
- Inspect the Starter Motor: If the starter motor is not engaging properly or is worn out, it can cause starting issues. Check the starter motor for any signs of damage or wear. You may need to remove it for a closer inspection.
By systematically checking these components, you should be able to diagnose and fix the starting issue with your Honda TRX 300. If you're uncomfortable performing these checks yourself, it's always a good idea to consult a professional mechanic for assistance.
Where does the power come from to the dash fuse box
These other people have no clue ! Battery voltage to the L/H & R/H inside fuse box's come from different sources. The ignition switch - when in the ACC,on an start positions , plus Mega fuses in the under hood fuse box. L/H BEC BATT 1 fuse # 5 40 amp location - under hood fuse box , plus R/H BEC BATT fuse # 2 30 amp fuse -location under-hood fuse box. Which inside fuse box? has two - left and right .
Engine Malfunction, starter pulley jammed.
All questions in Cars and Trucks need 'year make model' please. But this could be a generator, chainsaw, leaf blower or mower in which case 'make model (what is is).On a vehicle, remove sparkplugs and try and turn the engine by hand using the big nut on the crankshaft pulley. Broken timing chain or belt and the piston is hitting the open valves. However, NO cars have a starter that has a belt, they are gear driven...
2013 Cherry Tigo 2.0 TXE loose power when driving and come to a standstill. Engine cranked but does not start. What can be the problem
Try to diagnose the issue. That said, a professional mechanic with the diagnostic tools is likely needed.
Restart the Vehicle: First, shut off the engine, wait for about 10 seconds, and then restart the vehicle. Sometimes, this simple reboot can reset any signal errors that might be causing the "reduced engine power" warning light. It's still a good idea to have a mechanic check it out.
Since you've already changed the battery, it's essential to ensure that the new battery is functioning correctly. Check the battery connections, terminals, and cables. Also, inspect the electrical system for any loose or damaged wires.
Fuel System: Verify that there are no fuel-related issues. Ensure that the fuel pump is working correctly, and there are no clogs or leaks in the fuel lines.
Ignition System: The ignition system plays a crucial role in starting the engine. Check the spark plugs, ignition coils, and ignition control module. Faulty components in this system can prevent the engine from starting.
Air Trapped in Cooling System: As suggested in one of the solutions, make sure there's no air trapped in the cooling system. Bleeding the air out can help maintain proper engine temperature and prevent starting issues.
Remember that driving with the "reduced engine power" warning light on is not recommended.
2004 jeep grand cherokee died on the freeway and now just cranks but won't start
Whew! Tight spot. Here are some quick and some more involved things to check. Hopefully, another responder will pitch in. A good time to call AAA.
Troubleshoot this issue step by step:
Check for Spark: Crank the engine and check if there's a spark at the spark plugs or ignition coil. If you have a spark, the crankshaft position sensor (CPS) is likely not the problem.
Fuel Pump Operation: When you turn the key to the "on" position (but not start), you should hear the fuel pump run for a couple of seconds. If you don't hear it, there might be an issue with the fuel pump or its relay.
ASD Relay: The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay controls power to essential components like the ignition coils. If the ASD relay is faulty, you won't get spark. Check and replace it if necessary.
Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor: Ensure that these sensors are functioning correctly. They play a crucial role in engine performance.
Check the Key: If everything else checks out, consider the key itself. The chip in the key has a unique identifier code. Some replacement keys may mimic this code, so make sure your key is genuin..
Bus Line and SKIM Module: Verify the PCI bus line between the PCM/data link connector and the SKIM module. If there's an issue with communication, it could prevent the engine from starting
