My V70 has an interesting issue years ago, no sunshine roof or door lock control. That was the alarm, fitted alongside the offside front wheel arch. It has a flat battery. Replaced the battery and that cured the issues.

There isn't one. Volvo Automatic gear boxes are sealed for life.

Go into the back of the car to the tailgate. You will have to pull the inside cover off and inspect the rods that control the latches and the latch itself. Also lubricate everything with Slick 50 One Lube and reassemble after testing.

You should have a trunk lock cylinder in the trunk lid. Look to the right side of the license l plate by the license plate light and you will see a black plastic cover. Remove the cover to expose the lock cylinder then use your key.

How bad is the leak? A 'Factory Fitted' sun roof will usually leak for a few common reasons. It isn't closed properly, (Yes I've done that!). The drain channels are clogged and full of dirt so the water is pooling up in the runners and leaking in. The seals are starting to fail. On a 05 plate the rubber seals will probably be the factory originals so will be old and may have started to go bad so the sunroof isn't watertight anymore. Your first option is give the rails and sliders a good clean. Open the sun roof to it's widest and give the runners and the channels a heavy duty clean. An old toothbrush, toothpicks and cotton buds are great for getting into the troublesome areas. When clean lubricate the moving areas with Silicone Grease. Standard types of Grease or Lithium Grease are Petrolium based so can be bad for rubber seals, Silicone is mineral based so doesn't damage the seals.

the battery is located in the trunk underneath the floor. there should be a handle on the floor and you lift it up to get to the battery. there is a positive battery cable post under the hood near the driver side strut mount, next to the fuse box.

That means there is a possible problem with the engine/transmission or braking system. Take it to your Volvo dealership or a Ford garage, it's a Mondeo after all) for service.

Engine fault code P1633 (EOBD type):
Fault location = CAN data bus, ABS (Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) signal) - not received in time.
Probable cause = Wiring, CAN data bus, ABS module.

Bank 1 means it is at the engine side with cylinders 1, 3, 5, etc. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the second sensor on the engine's exhaust pipe, usually behind the catalytic converter on the way to the muffler. Question edited for clarity. I think you will find it is called 'Limp Mode'. It is the Engine Control Module finding a fault so serious that is might permanently damage the vehicle. Most likely it's you fuel pressure valve located on the fuel rail. Just unplug it and it just has one t25 screws that holds it on.

As the driver's door is the most used side it can be just worn or a part broken, best would be to remove the interior panel and check that the inside lever is still connected to the lock usually there is a thin metal bar that connects the two. If it is connected and you pull the lever and the bar doesn't move or only slightly this indicates you need a new inside lever, if the bar does move freely then you have to look at the lock mechanism.
