2005 Volvo S80, I have water leaking into the car

if the rain drops are falling on your head , it is unlikely that it will be the sun roof more likely door drain holes blocked or plastic covering that covers all of the holes in the door has not been replaced allowing the water into the car behind the trim another point for water is blocked drain for the ac evaporator box so check that hose as well

I have a 2000 Volvo non turbo s80 2.9 - I have seen people talking about a tranmission issue. Mine is a bit different. After about 10 mins of driving, it will accelerate VERY slowly from a dead stop.

its not reading earth the throttle position or the abs. or can even be the engine revs. low voltage can be a problem that causes this. a bad connection or even a faulty alternator. turn off then back on again is resetting the power and the longer on the weaker it goes to. like a bad regulator.

I have a 1999 VOLVO

Sounds like the large power wire (starter wire) is routed too close to the VSS. Sounds silly, but it can keep the engine from running.

2001 VOLVO S80 T6. Failed sensor caused transmission destruction.

They are solenoids that go bad. If you replace one, replace all four solenoids. The kit costs about $100 on ebay. It is a difficult job gaining access to the inside of transmission. Pay someone that knows how it's done.

Heater blower motor not working

If the floor was wet, you need to replace the heater core. The s80 is the easiest core replacement I have ever done. It is under dash on the driver's side. Just remove the two bolts, slide the old core out and slide the new core in.

My 2002 volvo s80 cluster will shut down with power windows/power lock, signals,

the 2002 s80 did have a problem with the cluster. I have one and I love the car. I went on ebay and found the correct cluster to fix the problem. If the displays are going off and on, replacement is the only fix. The 3 sets of numbers on your "new" cluster must be an EXACT match with the old clusters numbers. In other words, the cluster must be for a 2002 volvo. If the numbers match, it doesn't matter what model the donor cluster came from.

I have a 2000 volvo s80 the cluster stop working

To repair your cluster you can google a company called XeMoDex, or you can find a *same year* S80 in the junk yard and take the cluster from that and hope it's ok. The thing is that the car will generally show whatever the highest mileage is - whether it's in your car's computer or in the new cluster. If your car has 100K miles and the junk yard cluster has 150K miles, it will show 150K miles.

2009 volvo s80 won't start

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 10 minutes then reconnect it...verify that the battery is charging properly..sounds like the battery does not have enough cranking power..if he jumped it and it ran okay until you shut it off, the alternator is working properly, battery needs replacement...cheers.

2001 S80 2.9 Volvo AC stops working after briefly

if the voltage to the ac clutch is not 12 volts then find the bad connection that is causing the voltage drop shimming the clutch is not a good idea as it is not recommended I suspect that there is water in the ac system that is freezing and causing a high pressure problem and that is why the ac is switching off Take it to an accredited ac specialists shop for a proper diagnosis

I have a 2001 Volvo s80 that ran out of gas. Now, my car will not turn over and it seems like my battery is low. I put 3 gallons of gas in the tank, and when I tried to start it I see message that say

I would disconnect the battery, then reconnect and have someone jump the car while trying to start. Seems like a safety error that shut your car off so your fuel pump wouldn't burn out.
