How or where on the

Not a lot of websites offer free manuals. I tried searching for the volvo model 850 turbo on a torrent search and found it. Torrents are a p2p file sharing. They can be risky to download just because of jerks who puts viruses in there. I also can find virtually any repair manual on any model car at my local library and its free. Hopes this helps.

1997 850 volvo, when i manually open door with key, the car won't start and lights flash....so now only use the remote, Now remote won't work - had new battery in remote- suggestions on how to lock d

Try this trick, push the lock button once your in the car to unlock first then lock then unlock again, your kill switch is activated as anyone could unlock the door with a key, but to be linked together via bluetooth remote is exclusive and good practice if you choose to stop a thief

Volvo radio doesn't accept its own code

With a good battery in the car turn the ignition key to Position I. Do not put the key in position II. Make sure "OFF" is displayed. Let the car sit with the key in position I for about two hours. "CODE" will appear in the display. Enter your code.

Volvo buring oil

If you have good compression then I would bet that your PCV System is clogged. http://www.ipdusa.com/ has the parts at a reasonable price as a full kit. You will have to pull the Intake Plenum/Manifold and you need to be careful as the plastic lines are fragile but with caution and patience it can be done at home.

Blue smoke engine

You are burning oil, it could be coming from a blocked PCV System. If it is plugged it is best to replace the entire system and you have to remove the intake manifold to get to it.
