Do the engine have to be warm to check for coolant leak with a radiator pressure tester?
To check for a coolant leak with a radiator pressure tester, the engine does not have to be warm. In fact, it's safer to perform the test when the engine is cool to avoid the risk of burns.
Here are the general steps to perform a coolant pressure test:
Make sure the engine and the system is cool since hot coolant can burn, and that the cooling system has no pressure.
If the coolant level is low, add water or coolant to raise it.
Remove the radiator cap once the system is cool and depressurized.
Connect the pressure tester to the coolant reservoir or the radiator.
Pump the pressure tester to apply pressure to the cooling system without going over the system's psi number on the radiator cap, which the pressure tester's gauge measures.
If the pressure gauge drops quickly, there is a leak. The slower the gauge drops, the smaller the leak.
As for your Buick, it's possible that the intake manifold gasket is leaking coolant. This is a common problem in many GM vehicles, including Buicks34. The coolant can leak externally, or in some cases, it may leak internally, causing coolant to mix with the engine oil. Operating the engine with a coolant/oil mix can result in internal engine damage. If you suspect this is the case, it's recommended to get it checked and repaired by a professional mechanic.

I have a Vauxhall insignia and the battery is dead
As Steve Pack said, you replace a dead battery. And if there is some other issue regarding the battery, you are in good hands with Steve. Respond to his query.
If the battery is indeed dead, you can jump-start your Insignia using jumper cables and a healthy battery from another vehicle. Connect the red cable to the positive terminal of your Insignia's dead battery and then to the positive terminal of the donor battery. Next, connect the black cable to the negative terminal of the donor battery and then to bare metal in the engine bay of your Insignia. Start the donor vehicle and then your Insignia. Finally, remove the cables in reverse order.
Is it still worth buying a Tesla in 2024?
Buying a Tesla has issues and replacement battery costs are indeed astronomical. Tesla restricts who can service, and for whatever reason Tesla want to stop you driving, they can just remotely turn your car off, for instance if you don't getting serviced after being reminded a few times. The costs of using Tesla Fast chargers is not that different to buying gas.
The future of electric vehicles has a long way to go, and some manufacturers are dropping out of the race.
Getting 40 kilometers (I am in Canada) from your hybrid is dreadful mileage.
Thinking about Carbon Footprint and being 'Eco', the mining of the lithium for a Tesla battery is not good for the planet, then they have to be reprocessed at end of life. Have you seen what happens when a lithium battery spontaneously combusts!
Lots to consider. Look are Scotty Kilmer on YouTube, he is very anti-electric vehicles, but provides facts from trade publications in a fun and informative manner.
