Yes. if the axle is bad and binding it can cause the front end to vibrate because it gets out of balance.
BAD WHEEL BEARING,TIRE OUT OF BALANCE OR TIRE HAS A BLISTER OR BUMP, FRONT END NEED ALIGNMENT,WORN OUT TIE ROD ENDS AND WORN OUT BALL JOINTS, THE BRAKE ROTOR COULD BE WARP OR WORN IT HAS LOW AND HIGH SPOTS CAUSING WHEEL TO WOBBLE.A BAD AXLE CAUSE CLUNK NOISE ON ACCELERATION A BENT AXLE CAN CAUSE FRONT END TO SHAKE.

check tires first.check front end at the balljoints and all rubber bushings at mount points...replace fuel filter
SOURCE: front end shaking and squilling and eating tires
You need to take your van in for a front end alignment and the problem will appear right away, may just need adjustment but also it may need work.Have the repairs made because it sounds like your van is unsafe to drive in it's present condition.

Good Morning, I can imagine it is a bumpy ride after you do that. Normally with normal wear and tear the front suspension gets worn and it could be anything from a tie rod end to shocks or springs, and could even be ball joints there ae so many moving pieces up front what I would recommend is taking it in and getting a front end inspection done by a local garage and they can pinpoint which piece or pieces it is. Hope this helps, and if youhave any questions please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Joey
