2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS

Upon acceleration my Eclipse seems to have a bit of a miss usually between 0-15mph than it is fine. Only when you hit the gas hard????? Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my 01 eclipse... it turned out to be my ignition coil... you should have yours checked out... only problem is that it costs about 345$ or more... one thing to remember is that ignition coils either work or they don't... if the person who looks at your vehicle says that your igniton coil is going out ... they are lying and are just trying to get your money... good luck!
