Question about 2005 Audi A4

Open Question

I brought a 2005 Audi A4 B7 (CVT) around 6 months ago. I have never had any problems with it. I just managed to get hold of the service papers from 6 months ago and noticed that on the service papers the mechanic has noted that at times the "gear indicator light flashes" and when this happens the car is very sluggish. He has made a note that the ****** needs to be overhauled or replaced.... BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR.... Is there any explanation for this

If it is the display for the gears flashing, this indicates a fault with the gearbox system, this is more common on multitronic gearbox's

A6 turbocharged. Whyu does it smoke when it covers a 120km per hour?

I am going to say 'blown turbo'. As I understand it, they needs replacing every few years. They are susceptible to heat and incredible revolutions. They have to be lubricated, the seals go, and you get smoke.

When it happens, try jumping it directly at the starter solenoid, or checking for power at the solenoid. It could be a safety cut out, like for neutral, clutch pedal, seatbelts, etc.

Audi A4 "left dipped headlight" problem

this most likely caused by a poor headlight ground, check around the headlight for any loose wiring that is screwed to the sheet metal of the car under the hood behind the headlight.
