I have the SRS warning light permanently on, on my dash board. How do we fix it.

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS, MIL, CEL and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

take it to your local dealer srs systems are very complicated and take a dealer scan tool to run and test and there is a risk of explosion if you dont do things right SRS is not a repair at home system.

Check fuses

You will have to get the SRS trouble codes read with a scanner to pinpoint exactly what is wrong in the airbag system. Then, when you fix that problem, the light will go off, letting you know it's working well.

you need to have the airbag system checked...srs stands for supplemental restraint system....as long as that light is o the airbag may or may not work or may go off when it shouldnt
