I would check the power window relay in the relay/fuse block in the engine compartment behind the battery. Once you find the relay, swap it with another of the same size and color. Just make sure that it's a relay for a system that isn't important like the windshield wipers. The relay/fuse block cover will have labels for all the fuses and relays printed either on the top of the cover or on the inside. This test will rule out the relay and is the most likely cause since none of the windows work. If this doesn't work, then check for power at each window with a non-powered test light. If you have power at each switch and motor when the switches are depressed in either direction and still nothing works, you will need to check for high resistance in the ground circuits and motors themselves with a Digital Volt/Ohm meter. I hope this info helps!

None of the windows on my 2004 kia sorento will go do down using the window switches. however if i bypass the fuse the windows work fine

The fuse you are bypassing is a self resetting circuit breaker not a fuse. remove your jumper and replace the breaker. also lubricate all window tracks with lithium spray to avoid excessive tripping of this breaker. Window binding will damage the breaker

None of my 2 rear windows open its a mini Cooper convertible 2005 , funny thing is that top still open just fine !

This could be caused by a blown fuse, or a pinched wire. Check your fuse box to confirm if there is a fuse for that section of the back windows. Since the roof could be is motorized it would work, but a fuse is usually what operated the windows. Good Luck.

After changing the battery in our 02 PT Cruiser, the air bag warning light came on and won't go off along with the power windows/fan motor/ rear defrost stopped working. car starts and runs fine.

Year/make/model???? Changing the battery should not affect all of the above. Sounds like a power supply issue and possible ignition switch problem. Try starting the vehicle and gently moving the key/ignition switch back and forth slightly while using the window button and heater fan on. If these begin to operate while moving the key, suspect an ignition switch issue

Fuse blows out 5-10 min after replacement

Check all your wires ,make none have rubbed and exposed the bare wire .vibrations might cause the wire to short out on metal

None of the power windows work.No local or master controls work.

start by checking fuses, then relays. if the main switch goes on driver's door goes out then none of them will work.... i would recommend a new switch not a used one.

My power windows do not work in my vehicle. Could this be caused by a blown fuse?

It could be a fuse, but Id be more inclined to belive it to be the drIver side switch, it controls power to all the other windows in the car and if none are working, after checking the fuses, I would replace the switch in the drivers door.
