SOURCE: ENGINE MISSING ABOVE 3800 RPM
no the code is most likely from a dpfe sensor for you egr system not the egr valve itself.a clogged fuel filter though might cause your low revs

Moving the engine is rediculous. There are flexible ratchet estensions or use a universal joint. I changed all 6 of my 96 Fire bird 3800, it was a ***** but can be done. I used so many combinations of universal joint and short and long extensions I cant remember which finally worked. Trial and error is all I can tell you. You will be going underneath the car for sure. Use a universal joint than a medium estension, extend it up into the engine compartment wherever you can see it from above and attach a long extension and go from there. Generally the plug socket will be followed by the universal joint than the extensions. Be carefull that the universal joint doesn't bind up at a bad angle and crack the new plug. Take deep breaths and avoid kicking the car! I tried on one plug for over an hour and when frustrated I gave up and starting fresh the nest day removed it first try. When frustrated take a break and know it will take 5 times longer than you think it will! I will never do them again, mechanic the next time! Good luck

Gap is the same as original ones...should be on an under-hood sticker...Likely 35.

4.5 quarts of oil including the filter. that is assuming you have the 3.8 lliter v6 engine.which is standard. you can put about 1/4 quart of oil in the filter and then screw it on the oil filter housing. this will help eliminate a dry start condition when you crank the engine over after changing the oil and filter. put the remaining 4 quarts in, run the engine for 30 seconds and then check the oil level to top it off.
