The 137 code is low input, rear o2 sensor,141 is a preheat fault at the same o2 sensor, the 442 is an evap leak (like a loose gas cap )
None of these codes would cause a no start condition.I think a fuel pressure test should be first,at least see if you hear the pump run for about 3 seconds as the key is turned on,don't have to crank it just turn the key on and listen (or a helper) at the fuel filler neck.
Starter relay is actually mounted on top of the starter. Have you checked to see if your "new" battery was fully charged? If it is, then i would try a new starter which comes with a new starter relay. If you don't think its any of the above, it must be your starter switch. NOTE: starter switch is not where you put the key in, its mounted somewhere on your column, maybe even close to the floor and is actuated with a rod. You can actually start your car without a key after you find where the switch is located. Just pull down on the rod. (little known fact you can start a car without a key this way, hope your not a car theif, you can steal anycar this way lol)
Needing a jump can mean several things. The cables could be dirty or not tight again, the battery may be loosing power if the car sits, and so on. Someone would need to check the battery with a meter when it won't crank and find out if the battery is fully charged, and if the starter is getting power.
if it broke a timing belt or chain it would roll alot faster than normal.. if it just jumped time a notch or two it would still act like it was trying to start.. a chrankshaft sensor is a place to start.. but check to see if its firing first before you replace it because it could be the fuel also.. take a sparkplug out of the car and then plug it on the wire.. take an good insulated pair of pliers and hold the part of the spark plug that your socket goes on against a metal part of your motor.. then have someone roll the vehicle over while you watch the spark plug you can see the spark ti generates if vehicle is firing..if it is firing good then its probably in the fuel system.. hope this helps
my car wont crank, and I dont hear the fuel pump turn on when its in the on position. I have gotten a new fuel pump but it still dont work when it is in the on position nor crank my car. But you can hear the fuel pump when I try to crank the car but when i stop trying to crank it you hear the fuel pump go off. So if you could help me someone, anyone I would be totally happy :) my car is a (2001 Mitsubishi Galant 4cylinder)
