Our 91 HOnda Accord EX dies when you try to idle at at a stop light or stop sign and blows a fuse. We think it could be the computer, but don't know for sure. We have found a computer at a salvage yard but the last 3 numbers are not the same, our numbers are 37820-PT3-A73 the salvage yard numbers are 37820-PT3-L72. Need help as soon as possible

1. Apply a force of 100 N (10 kg, 22 lbs) and measure the deflection between the alternator and crankshaft pulley. Deflection: 10 - 12 mm (0.39 - 0.47 in)

• On a brand-new belt, the deflection should be 4.5 - 7 mm (0.18 - 0.28 in) when first measured.
• If there are cracks or any damage evident on the belt, replace it with a new one.
1. Loosen the through bolt and adjustment locknut.
2. Turn the adjusting bolt to obtain the proper belt tension, then retighten the nut and mounting bolt.
3. Recheck the belt deflection.

All you need is to adjust the valve tappet clearance back to the original specification. It is a time consuming effort and require passion to do it. You need to remove the top engine cover, set timing belt to top dead centre then adjust intake & exhaust valve clearance one by one. Rotare the cranckshaft 180 degree and repeat the valve clearance,. I would suggest to leave it to the expert.

check fuses or see if something might have got jamed in the track and also try movin the part where the seat belt moves back and forth to see if the motor is dying
