My 2005 sentra has about 63k miles on it and about two weeks ago my service engine light came on and we noticed it was running very sluggish and then realized it was leaking gas. a mechanic looked at it and said there was a disconnected hose, fixed it and the light went off and it ran fine for a couple days. Then about a week ago, it died twice on me at a stoplight and has been running sluggish again ever since. any suggestions? i am trying to find somewhere that will do a free diagnostic, but no luck yet :(
It could be that your fuel pump could be weak. or that it's in the electrical circuit of your fuel system. what that means is that the sensors that help read the performance of your fuel system could be malfunctioning. this would involve the O2(oxygen) the TPS(throttle position sensor. or it could be the fuel pressure regulater. you could probably go to a small garage and have scan done cheaper than if you take it to a dealership.hope this helps please rate this ......thanks and good luck
