For this code, you can try this:

The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

If the code comes back, the problem is likely going to be the result of the above causes (faulty thermostat, faulty ECT sensor, or a low coolant level).

Blazer is misfiring only in drive while stopped then runs smoothly when accelerated po codes 452 125 are also coming up what is it

Code P 0125 indicates insufficient coolant temp to enter closed loop operation. Most likely cause is either engine is not warming up (stuck thermostat) or more likely bad coolant temp sensor is making computer think engine is not warm and thus sends excess fuel injector pulse making engine run rich. Very common problem which kills gas mileage and may make car run poorly. Easy part to test or just change.

I have a code p1130 p1135 what does this code need to have repaired

they refer to the air/fuel sensor circuit and air/fuel heater circuit , the 0125 code refers to engine not getting to operating temperature , so that is why the other two codes are read , check coolant level, if ok check that the thermostat is opening , if it is then you may have an air lock in the coolant system so bleed the system , whilst bleeding get someone to switch the heater temp switch to hot and back to cold a few times as thats where an air lock could easily get trapped

2000 vw beetle 2.0 L, low level coolant light...engine mil code 1256

not the pump but air in the system or a broken wire to the coolant level sensor
that sensor at the top of the radiator tank has to be completely immersed in coolant or the circuit is broken and the light comes on
same effect id the wire to that sensor is broken in the insulation

What is the dialing code for 0125

Are you asking about OBD code? P0125 fault code?

P0125 OBD-II Trouble Code
Technical Description

Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control
What does that mean?

This means that the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor indicates that the engine has not reached the required temperature level to enter closed-loop operation within a specified amount of time after starting the engine.
Symptoms

You will likely not notice any drivability problems.

A code P0125 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Insufficient warm up time
Low engine coolant level
Leaking or stuck open thermostat
Faulty coolant temperature sensor

Possible Solutions
The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

If the code comes back, the problem is likely going to be the result of the above causes (faulty thermostat, faulty ECT sensor, or a low coolant level).

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I have a P1028 error code on my 2003 Camry, what does this mean?

Hello good fixya answer seeker

That code basically means the cars coolant temp is under what the thermostat is supposed to keep it at. There are a few things that can cause this issue i shall list them below for you.

1. low coolant level
2. bad thermostat
3. bad coolant temp sensor (sits in the side of the block most of the time)

All of the above are easy to change and cheap first off check the coolant level when car is cold only if that's good change thermostat and gasket cheap and easy if that don't correct the issue change the coolant temp sensor this tells fan when to run and reports temps to Gage.

Please leave 4 thumbs helps me help all of you thanks

Check coolant level
Check to make sure thermostat is functioning properly Check the Cooling fan Check the ECT sensor Check the IAT sensor If all else fails replace the thermostat

I have dtc code P0125 in a 1996 tercel

Don't fool with the sensor.
Your thermostat is staying open too long. The code tells me this. Replace the thermostat, and you will be fine.

Escort check engine light - code = P0125

Sounds as if the car is not getting warm enough, which could mean that your thermostat is stuck in the open position. Try changing it. That should take care of the problem. Depending on which brand you get, the thermostat will most likely cost you between $8.00-$16.00.

Also, check the coolant level. Make sure its at a proper level. The Temperature Sensor could be bad as well.
