Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Life up the hood and take out the horn fuse. I have seen multiple Chrysler's, all 1996, have the alarm going off. The horn blows, lights go off, and ticking. I believe there should be a fuse labeled "alarm". That is the one you want to take out. If it is not there, you can always take the horn fuse out. I am not for sure if yours is the black square fuses, but that is where it is on the 96 sebring and avenger. Hope this helps.

When i start my 96 mustang gt the horn is blowing

PATS does not blow the horn. Pull the horn fuse to see if that stops the draw. Then troubleshoot the horn circuit to see where the power is coming from. You can start at the horn relay. The relay gets a ground signal from the horn switch in the steering wheel. If that signal is constant, the problem is upstream of the relay--perhaps within the steering wheel. Do not remove the steering wheel to troubleshoot without disarming the airbag.

My '97 Geo Metro LSi will not start. When I turn the ignition key on the buzzer, idiot lights, lights, horn, etc., everything electrical will work. If I turn ignition key to start, there is absolutely no...

It could be the starter, test the small wire going to the starter, it should have power when turning the key to start/crank. If it does, and the starter will not crank the engine, whack it with a hammer, if it then starts, replace the starter. If there is no power to the starter, then it could be the ignition switch, or the neutral switch, or a fuse/link blown.

I have a '94 Jeep Cherokee 4wd 6 Cylinder. I just tried to install a radio and to my dismay it didn't work. The radio did not work previously anyways, so I tried to replace it. So, it didn't work. I then...

I would check the ignition switch,it is most likely the problem, the electrical part of the ignition switch, not the key cylinder,it is most likely coming apart on the inside of the switch.

I have a lincoln ls and my horn dont work but all the fuses are fine, I bought this car from an individual but I need to get it inspected

Could be bad horn or relay or the horn'button'.Start at the horn with a test light.Have someone push horn button and check for power at the horn.If no power then trace wires to relay, check for power cominginto relay. If power is going in but not out to horn relay is problem.etc. Some horns have a lttle knob you can turn to adjust them and get them working

My car horn turns on by itself

problem is under the steering wheel,if vehicle has air bag its best entrusted to a garage,if it hasnt then just pull steering wheel off with a special puller and check the carbon brush and the wires and contacts in the steering wheel itself. This is a simple job but without the right tools ???

Horn not working

sounds like a prob in the connection to your steering wheel. the steering wheel has a special connection that allows all the functions on it to be connected via a rotating connection (did i say connection enough...? lol) i dont know the terminology behind it, but that rotating thing is what lets you turn the wheel. Otherwise, regular connections with simple wires would bunch up everytime you turn the wheel. It sounds like something came loose or just lost connection in there..

sorry so vague. im a novice at this.

happy hunting
