I have a 02 Lincoln Ls the airbag light flashes 3times and6 the code is 36 what is the diganose

Lamp Fault Code 36 has four possibilites, of which are the following:
-Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Ground
-Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Battery or Ignition
-Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance High
-Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance Low
With that said, it's most likely your driver air bag needs to be replaced

2002 lincoln ls air bag light flashes 3times for 5 times in a row

The light can flash a two digit code - try counting the flashes between a pause.
You will need to get the system scanned and cleared once the repairs are made.

What does rescu failer mean

As I recall that rescue failure light comes on if one of the air bags has a failure and or been deployed at one time. If you check the engine light on the dash and when you turn the key as if you wanted to start the car but just to the first notch/position. The engine light will probably flash. Count the flashes and that is the fault code. There is a way to reset that, I don't recall; however any Lincoln service dept. mechanic will tell you. You may have to go to the dealer to speak to the service advisor to ask. Don't let them make your car an in-patient!

Light flashes 3 times then stays on..is it a sensor...the light indicates an error with the front air bags

The light flashing a certain amount of flashes is telling you the code. You can do some research online and find out the exact problem.

2002 Lincoln ls air bag light came on 63000 miles someone told me it has to be reset.......

If the air bag light is on there is a problem with the air bag. The light means the air bags will not deploy in an accident. Only a qualified tech should work on air bags.

I have a 32 code in my 2002 lincoln ls.the function on my steering wheel all work and the connector under the seat seems fine as weel

If all is fine, try resetting the codes and see if it comes back again.
The flashing SRS light it called an LFC code. The reason you are getting different information is that it does not pinpoint a defective part - but that you have either a open circuit or a short.... so many things can cause this.
here are the codes:

B1932 32 8 Driver Air Bag Circuit Resistance High
B1993 36 22 Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Ground
B1992 36 22 Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Battery or Ignition
B1994 36 22 Driver Side Air Bag Circuit High Resistance
B1995 36 22 Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Resistance Low

Typically, a 32 is a broken or open wire, and a 36 is a short.

So that is why a 32 is usually the connector under the driver seat (to the driver position sensor in the seat) since the seat moves back and forth all the time (with easy-entry) - the wires break causing it to go 'open circuit'.
the 36 is usually a short - so when the clock-spring fails - it's actually a ribbon cable in the steering column that wear through - causing multiple wires to rub through bare and short to each-other.
but - since this is an electircal circuit - any bare wire could cause

Air bag

It means there is a problem in your airbag system, and your airbags are not operational at this time. You should have it repaired as soon as possible.

Air bag light comes on and stays on. Never any accidents.

Had the same problem, found the wire disconnected under the driver seat (there is a yellow plug and with one red wire, which is fine, and one green wire, which is broken. Fixed the wire, light went off.
