SOURCE: mazda 626 will not start..no spark
Hi,
Offhand, a lot of possibilities that can cause no spark and/or deteriorating performance.
The correct procedure would be to have the car's computer scanned for the error codes. The error codes would give us a general idea where to begin diagnosis/tests. There are a number of known shops that would do the scanning for free and provide you with the error codes.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back with error codes, how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
SOURCE: #5 cylinder misfire
I have a corolla and had #4 cylinder misfire also diagnosed at autozone. After changing the spark plugs, problem persisted, along with the same error code, so they recommended changing the spark plug wires, and that is what fixed it. I would have changed the rotor cap too, but was low on dough. Glad that was not the problem.
SOURCE: engine seized no oil did not get check oil or check engine light
The oil pressure warning light only comes on when oil pressure drops below 4psi at this moment there is no oil in the engine most often it does not get to this point because oil, water etc is checked every week. It could be your engine was using oil which would point to an engine fault.

Try accelerating at different speeds, for example push pedal further down, or ease into it real slow & let it climb, and see if it still dies at 2000 rpm, just to see if pedal position makes any difference to see if maybe TP sensor has bad spot.
SOURCE: 1994 Mazda B4000 4WD V6. Check engine light on. Truck
if i remember right if the battery light and check engine light is on, your alternators may be bad. your battery may just have enough to keep it running for a minute or so. you can take it out and get it tested at a auto parts store. or try charging your battery for awhile and see if it stays on longer. if this is completely wrong let me know
