It sounds like you have either a lean or rich condition ocurring, could be exuast leak, vac leak, leaking fuel preasure regulator, cat convertor. At this point would go to dealer for diagnosis.

SOURCE: why is my 1998 hyundai accent overheating?

The head gasket has gone so pressure builds up in the cooling system and forces water out of the overflow

You need someone to take the head off , skim it and fit a new gasket

Where can I find the temperature coolant sensor on a 2007 Cadillac CTS

Why ? Temp gauge not working , cooling fans not working ? Is the check engine light lit an you have a coolant temp. sensor code ? The coolant temp. sensor is a input to the PCM/ECM - engine computer . If bad would turn on the check engine light. Trying to save you money an time replacing a sensor that may not need replacing .

Car shakes in reverse and engine light is blinking, gears will not change gets stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear

When the check engine light flashes it means DONT RUN IT or you will damage the engine. There are codes that your mechanic pulled from the computer, WHAT ARE THOSE CODES?

Car hesitates to start and if it starts after I punch the gas, it won't stay on.

Could be caused by a lot of different thing's , rather then replacing a bunch of part's an not fixing the problem . Take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has the diagnosic tool's an knowledge to address this . Could be caused by any number of information sensor's to the PCM - engine computer . MAP , MAF , Crank sensor , coolant temp , IAT . CAM sensor , Viewing sensor data on a professional type scan tool would eliminate the needless replacement of part's .

2002 saturn sl won't start, turn over but won't start

If the engine fires up for a second or two with starting fluid then the fuel pump is weak.I would check the fuel pressure and if its not within the specs then replace the pump and filter.

Wont shift and th engine light flashes on and off and it loses power what is it

Often this is a simple fix... these cars have several sensors that go bad leading to big symptoms. If your light will stay on enough to read, go to an Autozone and have them read the code... it's free and they will give you a print-out of what may be the culprit. Start with the easy solutions (sometimes checking vacuum hoses or spark plugs, etc) and then start replacing suggested sensors. But if you have the code read, you can search that specific code online and you'll find a wealth of solutions to try. Good luck!

2000 hyundai accent runs good though, when it gets up to temp. the car shuts off ,when it gets cold again it starts right back up whats my problem has a new radiator in it

car shuts off when temp, gets to normal--- causes: low coolant, failing coolant temp. sensor, air in water pump, failed radiator fan, kinked heater hose, check the coolant temp. sensor first.

2000 Hyundai Accent failed the emission test, high NO readings. I've put a new O2 sensor into it, same readings.(roughly) I've read that there is no EGR valve on this engine? (1500cc) Any other...

Did you RESET the Adaptives?.. if you didn't that may be the problem. To reset adaptives, remove both battery cables and touch the cables together for 30 seconds (60 seconds is better), then reconnect the cables to the battery -- see if that cures it. You are correct, there is no EGR valve on that engine. However, there are several other sensors which could be causing your problem.. one is the MAF, the other is the MAP and still another is the IAT and the ECT (MAF - MASS AIR FLOW, MAP - MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE, IAT - INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR and finally the ECT- Engine Coolant Temp Snsr. If any of these sensors is malfunctioning,& lying to the ECM, they could cause a 'LEAN' fuel condition and that's why your NOx's are high.

Warning light

Usualy the check engine light reports a malfuction in your engine performance system, it coulb be a misfire, bad sensors, vaccum leak, you need to have your engine code read from a garage or an auto parts store that offers the service for free.
